Abstract:
Nesse viés, a presente
do currículo.
etnomedológico do tipo descritiva.
adequações, visto a realidade brasileira e as pesquisas recentes, as quais reafirmam tal
ABSTRACT: Understanding the educational process, as well as its practice, becomes an alternative to
exemplify solutions to emerging demands in the field of education, especially in high school, a
stage of basic education that undergoes constant reorganization, but is not fully consolidated
due to structural and social issues. In this context, this research starts from the understanding
of the educational practice of high school training itineraries in technical-level professional
education, based on the reform instituted by Law No. 13,415/17, which proposes basic general
education and training itineraries as part of the total workload of the curriculum. The study has
as its general objective to understand the educational practice developed within the scope of the
technical and professional training itinerary (FTP) of the state network of Teresina-PI and,
specifically, to characterize the educational practice of teachers who work in the FTP itinerary;
to identify the educational and professional profile of high school teachers who work in the FTP
itinerary; to describe the limits and possibilities of the educational practice developed in the
FTP itinerary. Methodologically, the research is characterized as qualitative, with an
ethnomethodological bias of the descriptive type. The instruments for producing data are
participant observation, questionnaire, interview, field diary and documentary analysis. The
research was developed in a public school of the state network of technical-vocational
education, located in the city of Teresina-PI, with the participants being teachers who teach the
training itineraries and students of the different technical courses offered at the institution. To
organize, interpret and understand the research data, ideas referring to both content analysis
through categories explained by Bardin (2016) and Hermeneutics-Dialectics discussed by
Minayo (1998) were used. The results discuss the elements that constitute the educational
practice of the training itineraries and, through the analysis of the teachers' responses, elements
such as continuing education, physical structure, dialogues and exchanges, curriculum,
theoretical bases, learning management, forms of assessment, social understanding, teaching
materials and school culture were found. Therefore, they show that the configuration of
integrated high school education still needs adjustments, given the Brazilian reality and recent
research, which reaffirms this proposition. In addition, they highlight the need for teachers and
students to understand what training itineraries are, their relevance to preparing for the job
market, the training of teachers and the school community in general on them, adequate training
to teach them and the structuring of schools to receive these training paths. And, finally, it is
found that many students experience socio-emotional problems and are undecided about what
their life projects are. In this sense, by analyzing all these categories, the study directly
contributes to reflecting on Secondary Education and the need for it to be fair, realistic and
contemplative in order to fulfill its role as a stage of education that represents integral
development, training for the exercise of citizenship and preparation for the world of work.
