REGIONALISMOS DO CAMPO SEMÂNTICO JOGOS E DIVERSÕES INFANTIS DO ALIB NOS DICIONÁRIOS ELETRÔNICOS HOUAISS E AURÉLIO.

Abstract

RESUMO: Esta pesquisa se insere no âmbito da Metalexicografia e tem, como objetivo geral, analisar o tratamento dado aos regionalismos do campo semântico Jogos e diversões infantis do Atlas Linguístico do Brasil (ALiB) no Dicionário eletrônico Houaiss da língua portuguesa (DEH) e no Dicionário eletrônico Aurélio da língua portuguesa (DEA). Os objetivos específicos são verificar como esses regionalismos e suas variantes são tratados nos dicionários; identificar quais as convergências e as divergências entre os dados do ALiB e dos dicionários quanto à localização geográfica dos regionalismos; identificar as variantes que são registradas ou não nos dicionários; e, por fim, propor, quando cabível, algumas possíveis soluções para um tratamento adequado dos regionalismos. Para atingir tais objetivos, foi traçado o seguinte percurso metodológico: 1) levantamento das variantes lexicais do campo semântico Jogos e diversões infantis presentes no ALiB; 2) consulta no DEH e no DEA das variantes lexicais selecionadas, a fim de perceber como elas estão registradas e o que se diz sobre elas, sobretudo quanto à localização geográfica; 3) comparação entre as informações dadas no ALiB e nos dicionários; 4) elaboração de quadros para a organização dos dados comparados, classificando-os como convergentes ou divergentes; 5) elaboração de quadro para a classificação das variantes em diferentes categorias, segundo o tratamento que elas recebem nos dicionários. A pesquisa partiu das discussões a respeito do problema do tratamento de regionalismos em dicionários, baseadas em Isquerdo (2006, 2007) e em Fajardo (1996-1997). Esses autores afirmam que os dicionários devem se basear em pesquisas dialetológicas e geolinguísticas à hora de precisar a natureza dos regionalismos. Este trabalho também se fundamentou na discussão sobre a formação sócio-histórica do português brasileiro, segundo autores como Lucchesi (2015), Faraco (2016), Rodrigues (2010), entre outros; das discussões sobre a Lexicografia e a Metalexicografia, baseando-se em autores como Welker (2004), Biderman (1984) e Haensch (1982), entre outros, e dos estudos sobre a Dialetologia, fundamentando-se em Cardoso (2010). Com a análise dos dados, percebeu-se que a maioria das informações dos dicionários sobre determinados regionalismos divergem do ALiB. Além disso, foi possível detectar diferentes formas de tratamento de regionalismos nos dicionários analisados, quais sejam: i) não registro de variantes; ii) registro de variantes, mas sem acepção que se refira a jogo, brinquedo ou brincadeira; iii) registro de variantes, mas sem localização geográfica; iv) registro de variantes com localização geográfica. Diante disso, foi possível perceber a necessidade dos dicionários de atualizarem as informações sobre regionalismos, sobretudo quanto à localização geográfica, baseando-se, principalmente, em atlas linguísticos...............ABSTRACT: This research is inserted in the field of Metalexicography and has as general objective to analyze the treatment destined to regionalisms of the semantic field Games and child enjoyment (ALiB) on the Houaiss Electronic Dictionary Portuguese Language (DEH) and Aurélio Electronic Dictionary of the Portuguese Language (DEA). The specific objectives are to verify how these regionalisms are treated on the dictionaries; to identify what are the convergences and divergences between the data from ALiB and the dictionaries regarding the geographic localization of the regionalisms; and, finally, to propose, when possible, some possible solutions to a proper treatment towards regionalisms. In order to achieve such objectives the following methodological path was established: 1) performing a survey on the lexical variants in the semantic field Games and child enjoyment (ALiB); 2) checking on DEH and DEA for the selected lexical variants in order to understand how they are registered and what is said about them, mainly in regard to the geographic localization; 3) comparison between the data found on ALiB and on the dictionaries; 4) elaborating charts to organize the compared data, classifying them as convergent or divergent; 5) elaborating charts for classifying the variants into different categories, according to the treatment they are given on the dictionaries. The research started from discussions over the problem of the treatment of regionalisms on dictionaries, based on Isquerdo (2006, 2007) and Fajardo (1996-1997). These authors assert that dictionaries must be based on dialectical and geolinguistic researches when defining the nature of regionalisms. This study was also based on the discussion about the social-historical formation of Brazilian Portuguese, according to Lucchesi (2015), Faraco (2016), Rodrigues (2010), among others; in addition to the discussions on Lexicography and Metalexicography, based on Welker (2004), Biderman (1984) and Haensch (1982), and others, and the studies about Dialectology in accordance to Cardoso (2010). Once the data were analyzed, it was noticed that the majority of information on the dictionaries about certain regionalisms diverge from ALiB. Moreover, it was possible to detect ways of treating regionalisms on the analyzed dictionaries, which are: i) non-registering of variants; ii) registering variants, but without meanings referring to games or toys; iii) variant register, but with no geographic location; iv) variant register with geographic location. In face of that, it was possible to perceive the need for the dictionaries to update the information concerning regionalisms, mainly concerning the geographic location, based on linguistic atlas.
