CRIAÇÕES DE E-ZINES NO MEIO DIGITAL: saberes, emoções e sentimentos de jovens no período da pandemia (2020-2021)

Abstract

RESUMO: A presente dissertação integra o Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas “Educação, Gênero e Cidadania” - NEPEGECI e o Observatório de Juventudes e Violências na Escola - OBJUVE, espaços de estudos e pesquisas desenvolvidas pela linha 03 - Educação, Diversidades/Diferença e Inclusão, do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação - PPGEd, da Universidade Federal do Piauí - UFPI. A pesquisa encarnada surge a partir das experiências enquanto jovem estudante com o universo dos fanzines, inicialmente os impressos, e no processo deste mestrado, com os e-zines (fanzines virtuais) criados por jovens durante a pandemia de COVID-19 e compartilhados em meios digitais. Naquele momento, o mundo vivenciou de modo intenso todas as turbulências, mortes, luto, adoecimentos, inseguranças, medo, isolamento social, dentre outras transformações e consequências ocasionados pela pandemia de COVID-19, em decorrência do vírus Sars-cov-2. Na educação, o ensino remoto foi incorporado às práticas educativas, com aulas virtuais por meio de plataformas como Google Meet e Zoom, o distanciamento foi uma exigência de enfrentamento ao coronavírus, impossibilitando os encontros presenciais. Assim, uma das maiores relevâncias deste estudo sobre fanzines na educação foi registrar as expressões de jovens no período da pandemia, um modo de ver e de ouvir, de longe e de perto, o que jovens produziram de e-zines durante o período entre 2020 e 2021 sobre si e o mundo. Dessa forma, a dissertação tem por objetivo geral: analisar saberes, emoções e sentimentos expressos em e-zines (fanzines/zines virtuais) produzidos e/ou que tiveram a participação de jovens na Educação e foram compartilhados no meio digital no período da pandemia de COVID-19 entre 2020 e 2021. E como específicos: investigar as temáticas de e-zines produzidos e/ou que tiveram a participação de jovens na Educação e que foram compartilhados nos meios digitais no período da pandemia de COVID-19 entre 2020- 2021; identificar saberes, emoções e sentimentos mobilizados pelas temáticas de e-zines produzidos e/ou que tiveram a participação de jovens na Educação e que foram compartilhados nos meios digitais no período da pandemia de COVID-19 entre 2020-2021. O fanzine é uma publicação alternativa e amadora, geralmente de pequena tiragem e impressa artesanalmente. Desde a década de 90 os fanzines passaram a habitar os meios digitais, criando novas criações, passando a serem chamados de e-zines, que são zines virtuais em que a internet possibilitou alcance maior de sua divulgação, desde os sites até as redes sociais como o Facebook e Instagram. Plataformas de edições deram suporte e modernizações na criação dos e-zines, tornando-se aliadas nas estratégias de publicação de jovens fanzineiros. Alguns autores que dão aporte teórico são: Adad (2011, 2014, 2021), Freire (2021), Morin (2021), Magalhães (1993, 2013, 2016, 2018), Guimarães (2005), Pinto (2020), Sno (2022) e Kozinets (2014). A pesquisa baseia-se na abordagem da netnografia, tipo de pesquisa etnográfica adaptada às eventualidades especiais dos diversos tipos de interação social mediada por computador, a partir disso, um caminho etnográfico foi trilhado de modo virtual no qual foram analisados e-zines da fanzinoteca (biblioteca de fanzines) do Instituto Federal Fluminense, Campus Macaé, publicados no Instagram e no site do Instituto disponibilizados para livre acesso. Como resultados, a pesquisa aponta para os processos de criação juvenil presentes na autoralidade e/ou participação na criação de e-zines expressando seus saberes que, por exemplo, durante o isolamento em um dos e-zines foram resgatados histórias orais que foram recolhidas entre os membros familiares dos estudantes, ressaltando a importância dos vínculos familiares e da escuta nesse período; outros saberes estão ligados aos protocolos e instruções relacionados à pandemia da COVID-19, com a criação de e-zines com informações para diferentes públicos sobre auxílio emergencial e cuidados com a prevenção do coronavírus, vivenciados naquele momento. Tais saberes permitiram identificar emoções e sentimentos como, por exemplo, preocupação com as incertezas daquele contexto, o uso da linguagem com emoticon expressando sensações de dúvidas, medo, alegria dentre outros, bem como a criação do personagem Coronavírus com semblante de monstro com boca aberta com dentes expostos, expressando ou causando terror – modo de aproximar as crianças e os jovens dos protocolos exigidos para sua segurança e para o enfrentamento da pandemia, presentes em um dos e-zines.

ABSTRACT: This dissertation integrates the Center for Studies and Research "Education, Gender and Citizenship" - NEPEGECI and the Observatory of Youth and Violence at School - OBJUVE, spaces for studies and research developed by line 03 - Education, Diversities / Difference and Inclusion, of the Graduate Program in Education - PPGEd, of the Federal University of Piauí - UFPI. The incarnate research arises from the experiences as a young student with the universe of fanzines, initially the printed ones, and in the process of this master's degree with the e-zines (virtual fanzines) created by young people during the COVID-19 pandemic and shared in digital media. At that moment, the world experienced intensely all the turbulence, death, mourning, illness, insecurities, fear, social isolation, among other transformations and consequences caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, as a result of the SARS-cov-2 virus. In education, remote learning has been incorporated into educational practices, with virtual classes through platforms such as Google Meet and zoom, distancing was a requirement to cope with the coronavirus, making in-person meetings impossible. Thus, one of the greatest relevances of this study on fanzines in education was to record the expressions of young people in the period of the pandemic, a way of seeing and hearing, from far and near, what young people produced from e-zines during the period between 2020 and 2021 about themselves and the world. Thus, the dissertation has as general objective: to analyze knowledge, emotions and feelings expressed in e-zines (fanzines / virtual zines) produced and / or that had the participation of young people in Education and were shared in the digital environment in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic between 2020 and 2021. And as specific: to investigate the themes of e-zines produced and/or that had the participation of young people in Education and that were shared in digital media in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic between 2020-2021; identify knowledge, emotions and feelings mobilized by the themes of e-zines produced and/or that had the participation of young people in Education and that were shared in digital media during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic between 2020-2021. The fanzine is an alternative, amateur publication, usually small-run and handmade printing. Since the 90's fanzines began to inhabit the digital media, creating new creations, starting to be called e-zines, which are virtual zines in which the internet has enabled greater reach of their dissemination, from websites to social networks such as Facebook and Instagram. Publishing platforms supported and modernized the creation of ezines, becoming allies in the publishing strategies of young fanzines. Some authors who give theoretical input are: Adad (2011, 2014, 2021), Freire (2021), Morin (2021), Magalhães (1993, 2013, 2016, 2018), Guimarães (2005), Pinto (2020), Sno (2022) and Kozinets (2014). The research is based on the netnography approach, a type of ethnographic research adapted to the special eventualities of the various types of computer-mediated social interaction, from this, an ethnographic path was trodden in a virtual way in which e-zines of the fanzinoteca (fanzine library) of the Fluminense Federal Institute, Macaé Campus, were analyzed, published on Instagram and on the Institute's website available for free access. As results, the research points to the processes of youth creation present in authorship and/or participation in the creation of e-zines expressing their knowledge that, for example, during the isolation in one of the e-zines were rescued oral histories that were collected among the family members of the students, emphasizing the importance of family ties and listening in this period; other knowledge is linked to the protocols and instructions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the creation of ezines with information for different audiences about emergency aid and care for the prevention of the coronavirus, experienced at that time. Such knowledge allowed to identify emotions and feelings such as, for example, concern with the uncertainties of that context, the use of language with emoticon expressing sensations of doubts, fear, joy among others, as well as the creation of the character Coronavirus with a monster countenance with open mouth with exposed teeth, expressing or causing terror – a way to bring children and young people closer to the protocols required for their safety and to cope with the pandemic, present in one of the e-zines.
