O RÁDIO COM SOTAQUE PIAUIENSE: História e memória da Rádio Educadora de Parnaíba em meados do século XX

Abstract

RESUMO: Este trabalho ambiciona construir um mapa do rádio em Parnaíba, a análise tem como foco a construção da memória radiofônica de Parnaíba e a metodologia está centrada na História Oral, por esta oferecer as possibilidades de investigação do conhecimento que se processa no convívio social, questionando a tradição historiográfica centrada em documentos oficiais, oportunizando não só oferecer uma mudança do conceito de história, mas também, garantindo sentido social à vida de depoentes e leitores, que passam a entender a sequência histórica e se sentem parte do contexto em que vivem. É dedicado ao levantamento, sistematização e interpretação dos diferentes suportes e registros de memória, orais e escritos na tentativa de reconstruir uma narrativa da história e da memória do rádio parnaibano. A proposta enquadra-se no campo da história cultural privilegiando o estudo da memória. Ganha vida, produzido pela ação do historiador que almeja compreender a contribuição da Rádio Educadora de Parnaíba, como uma das primeiras tentativas de instalação do rádio no Estado, propiciando à produção histórica uma abordagem no âmbito da cultura que possa desvelar práticas, reconstruindo memórias, analisando discursos, identificando modelos de produção de subjetividades que deixaram marcas a serem identificadas na cultura piauiense. É no cenário das décadas de 1940 e 1960 que este trabalho se situa, procurando cartografar o rádio e fornecendo algumas pistas e indicações que contribuam para o crescimento do interesse nessa área de pesquisa. ABSTRACT: The objective of this work is to construct a map of the radio in the city of Parna ba; therefore, its focus of analyses is the construction of the broadcasting memory in this city. The methodology of the research is the Oral History, for it offers possibilities to investigate the knowledge that is present in the social context, interrogating the historiography tradition centered in official documents, which offer not only a change in the concept of history, but also a guarantee of the social meaning to the participants and writers’ life who start to understand the historical sequence and to feel part of the environment in which they live. It is dedicated to the collection, systematization and interpretation of different bases of oral and written memory registers in order to reconstruct a narrative about the radio history and memory in Parna ba. The propose of the work figures out in the field of cultural history concerning the study of memory. The research was produced by the historian actions which also intend to comprehend the contribution of the “R dio Educadora” of Parna ba, as one of the first attempts to the radio installation in the state, offering the historic production an approach in the cultural dimension that can reveal practices, reconstruct memories, analyze discourses, identify models of subjectivity productions which left marks identified in the culture of Piau . This work also verifies the contribution of the “R dio Educadora” of Parna ba identifying the moments in which it articulated new social practices, stimulating new habits and costumes and creating new spaces of sociability and political practice. It also highlights the promotion of the radio artists through its microphones and concerts that took place in open spaces and private clubs. The scenery of this research is placed between the decades of 1940 and 1960 in order to understand the radio phenomenon and to offer some tips and indications to contribute to the increase of interest in this research field.
