PROCESSOS DE ACOMPANHAMENTO DE EGRESSOS DOS CURSOS SUPERIORES NO INSTITUTO FEDERAL DO PIAUÍ

Abstract

RESUMO: Os egressos, concluintes de um processo de formação acadêmica, constituem a parcela representativa que reflete a qualidade do ensino oferecido pela Instituição. Disso, então, decorre a necessidade da implementação de uma política de acompanhamento dos mesmos. O Instituto Federal do Piauí (IFPI) surgiu como marco referencial na educação pública, técnica e profissional, oferecendo uma educação de nível médio e superior, formando milhares de alunos egressos. Neste trabalho, fruto de exaustiva pesquisa bibliográfica, documental, virtual, dentre outras fontes, apresentou-se o IFPI no contexto do desenvolvimento regional e analisou-se a promoção da endogênese dos seus egressos. Assim, este trabalho objetivou levantar dados institucionais a fim de realizar uma análise profunda da eficiência do processo atual de acompanhamento dos egressos do IFPI. Para alcançar o objetivo almejado, traçou-se um percurso metodológico por meio de uma revisão da literatura voltada para esse fim, qual seja, o acompanhamento e avaliação dos alunos egressos, com base em obras de renomados autores que sistematizaram pesquisas com esse tema, em diversos IFs do país, como: Carvalho, Deluiz, Machado, Coelho, Lima e outros, além de coleta de dados nos diversos arquivos institucionais. Por fim, como resultado alcançado nesta pesquisa revelou-se a enorme distorção ou desalinhamento entre o quantitativo de alunos ingressantes e egressos, que revela a pouca ou nenhuma efetividade de política de acompanhamento dos alunos egressos na Instituição. Daí a importância deste trabalho, pelo seu pioneirismo e ineditismo na abordagem deste tema. Além disso, dentro de uma visão holística de toda a pesquisa realizada, revelou-se a grandiosidade que um trabalho dessa natureza e magnitude nos proporciona, destacando que a exaustividade do trabalho não se esgota em si, pois muito ainda há que se fazer, em relação ao acompanhamento dos alunos egressos; como exemplo, a implementação de políticas públicas, ações e projetos de fomento para que a educação técnica e profissional atinja sua plenitude.

ABSTRACT: The graduates, who completed a process of academic training, constitute the representative portion that reflects the quality of education offered by the Institution. Thus, there is a need to implement a policy to monitor them. The Federal Institute of Piauí (IFPI) emerged as a benchmark in public, technical and professional education, offering high school and higher education, training thousands of students. In this work, the result of exhaustive bibliographic, documentary and virtual research, among other sources, IFPI was presented in the context of regional development and the promotion of the endogenesis of its graduates was analyzed. Thus, this work aimed to collect institutional data in order to carry out a thorough analysis of the efficiency of the current process of monitoring IFPI graduates. To achieve the desired objective, a methodological path was traced through a literature review aimed at this purpose, that is, the monitoring and evaluation of students, based on works by renowned authors who systematized research on this topic, in several FIs. of the country, such as: Carvalho, Deluiz, Machado, Coelho, Lima and others, in addition to data collection in the various institutional files. Finally, as a result achieved in this research, the enormous distortion or misalignment between the number of incoming and outgoing students was revealed, which demonstrates the little or no effectiveness of the policy of accompanying students who graduated from the Institution. Hence the importance of this work, due to its pioneering spirit and originality in approaching this theme. In addition, within a holistic view of all the research carried out, the greatness that a work of this nature and magnitude provides us was revealed, highlighting that the exhaustiveness of the work does not end in itself, as much remains to be done, in relation to the monitoring of the students; as an example, the implementation of public policies, actions and fostering projects so that technical and professional education reaches its fullness.
