TERMINAÇÃO DE OVINOS EM PASTAGEM DE CAPIM MARANDU SUPLEMENTADOS COM FARELO DE ESTILOSANTES CAMPO GRANDE

Abstract

RESUMO: Objetivou-se avaliar o potencial nutricional do farelo de estilosantes Campo Grandena suplementação de ovinos em terminação em pastagem de capim-braquiária cv. Marandu. Os ovinos foram manejados na pastagem de capim Marandu e submetidos aos seguintes tratamentos:suplementação controle, constituída por farelo de soja e milho moído; suplementação com 25% de farelo de estilosantes (FE); suplementação com 50% de FE e suplementação com 75% de FE, em substituição ao farelo de soja.Os animais foram distribuídos em delineamento em blocos ao caso, com 6 repetições. Avaliou-se o consumo de suplemento, o ganho de peso diário(GPD), área do olho de lombo (AOL), profundidade, comportamento ingestivo em pastejo e viabilidade econômica. A massa de forragem do pasto foi 3.223,12kg de matéria seca (MS)/ha. A suplementação com farelo de estilosantes não influenciou (P<0,05) o comportamento ingestivo dos ovinos quanto ao tempo de pastejo, ócio e deslocamento, apenas no tempo de ruminação. O consumo de nutrientes do suplemento foi similar à dieta controle até o nível de 50% de FE (0,268kg/dia), enquanto os animais que receberam suplemento com 75% FE, o consumo foi menor (P<0,05) (0,179 kg/dia). Não houve diferença (P>0,05) no ganho de peso diário (86,63 g/dia), AOL e PROF. Os custos de produção com suplementação foram crescentes com o aumento do FE devido ao incremento do óleo na composição destes para equilibrar o nível energético com o suplemento controle. A suplementação utilizando o farelo de estilosantes não influencia o desempenho animal e eleva o custo dos suplementos. ABSTRACT: The objective of this study was to evaluate the nutritional potential of the Campo Grande style bran in the supplementation of sheep in finishing in pasture of Brachiaria grass cv. Marandu. The sheep were handled in the Marandu grass pasture and submitted to the following treatments: control supplementation, consisting of soybean meal and milled corn; supplementation with 25% bran (FE); supplementation with 50% FE and supplementation with 75% FE, replacing soybean meal. The animals were distributed in a block design to the case, with 6 replicates. Supplement consumption, daily weight gain (GPD), loin eye area (AOL), depth, ingestion behavior on grazing and economic viability were evaluated. The forage mass of the pasture was 3,223.12 kg dry matter (DM) / ha. Dietary supplementation did not influence the ingestive behavior of the sheep as regards grazing, leisure and displacement time (P <0.05), only during rumination time. The nutrient intake of the supplement was similar to the control diet until the level of 50% FE (0.268kg / day), while the animals receiving supplementation with 75% FE, the consumption was lower (P <0.05) (0.179 kg / day). There was no difference (P> 0.05) in daily weight gain (86.63 g / day), AOL and PROF. The costs of production with supplementation were increasing with the increase of the FE due to the increase of the oil in the composition of these to balance the energy level with the control supplement. The supplementation using the bran of styling did not influence the animal performance and increased the cost of the supplements, being recommended the supplementation with substitution of up to 50% of bran of styling.
