ESTUDO COMPARATIVO DA CONVERGÊNCIA DE CONTEÚDOS E DA INTERATIVIDADE NOS PORTAIS PIAUIENSES O DIA E MEIO NORTE

Abstract

RESUMO: A convergência midiática e a interatividade têm provocado diversas modificações no modo de fazer jornalismo, não apenas do ponto de vista tecnológico, mas também pela integração das redações e dos conteúdos, alterando as rotinas profissionais e empresarias. No Piauí, a produção e distribuição de conteúdos convergentes ainda é um desafio para os veículos de comunicação, visto que a tecnologia sozinha não garante uma melhor qualidade da informação. Desta forma, a presente pesquisa tem como objetivo geral analisar a convergência de conteúdos e a interatividade em matérias jornalísticas da homepage dos portais piauienses O Dia e Meio Norte. Os objetivos específicos são: - identificar os recursos multimidiáticos e a linguagem utilizada nas notícias dos portais O Dia e Meio Norte, a fim de estabelecer em qual fase/geração do Webjornalismo encontra-se cada um dos referidos portais; - identificar como é realizada a convergência dos conteúdos provenientes dos outros veículos dos grupos para os respectivos portais; - analisar o tipo de interação entre portal e leitores, por meio dos comentários das notícias da homepage dos veículos estudados; - comparar os tipos de convergência de conteúdos e interatividade praticados pelos portais piauienses O Dia e Meio Norte. Assim, a pesquisa se justifica pela forma como a web, a convergência midiática e a interatividade estão transformando os modos de fazer jornalismo e como as mudanças culturais e sociais na práxis dessas atividades levantam reflexões propulsoras para esse estudo. Diante disso, a escolha do tema parte da inquietação em analisar como a imprensa piauiense, por meio dos portais estudados, tem contribuído para modificar as práticas sociais e culturais provocadas pela convergência midiática e pela interatividade, bem como pela inquietação em identificar em qual fase do Webjornalismo encontram-se os portais estudados. O referencial teórico é composto por autores que estudam questões relacionadas ao Webjornalismo, como Canavilhas (2001; 2006; 2014), Jenkins (2008), Salaverría (2005; 2009; 2010; 2014), dentre outros. Quanto à definição dos procedimentos metodológicos, a pesquisa é quantitativa e qualitativa, utilizando a técnica da Análise de Conteúdo (AC) para analisar as matérias convergentes da homepage dos veículos estudados, bem como utiliza também o método comparativo para identificar semelhanças e/ou diferenças na forma como os portais O Dia e Meio Norte praticam a convergência de conteúdos e a interatividade. Conclui-se, portanto, que há mais semelhanças do que diferenças na forma como os dois portais estão convergindo seus conteúdos e praticando a interatividade com seus públicos. ABSTRACT: Media convergence and interactivity have caused several modifications in the way journalism is done, not only in the technological point of view, but also in the integration of redaction and content, changing the professional and business routines. In Piaui, the production and distribution of converging content is still a challenge for communication vehicles since technology alone does not ensure a better information quality. Therefore, the present research aims to analyze how content convergence and interactivity in journalistic articles on the homepage of the Piaui news websites O Dia and Meio Norte occurs. The specific objectives are: - to identify multimedia resources and the language used in the news of O Dia and Meio Norte websites in order to establish in which phase/generation of Webjournalism each of the portals is located; - to identify how the content convergence coming from other vehicles of the groups to the respective portals is realized; - to analyze the type of interaction between portal and readers through the comments on the news of the homepage of the vehicles studied; - to compare the types of content convergence and interactivity practiced by the Piaui portals O Dia and Meio Norte. Thus, the research is justified by the manner in which the web, media convergence and interactivity are transforming the ways of doing journalism and how the cultural and social changes in the praxis of these activities raise propelling reflections for this study. Given this, the choice of the theme departs from the concern to analyze how the Piaui press, through the studied portals, has contributed to modify the social and cultural practices caused by media convergence and interactivity, as well as the concern to identify in which phase of the Webjournalism the portals studied are situated. The theoretical background is composed by authors who study issues related to Webjournalism, such as Canavilhas (2001; 2006; 2014), Jenkins (2008), Salaverría (2005; 2009; 2010; 2014), among others. Regarding the definition of the methodological procedures, the research is quantitative and qualitative, using the technique of Content Analysis (CA) to analyze the convergent subjects of the homepage of the studied vehicles, as well as using the comparative method to identify similarities and/or differences in the way that O Dia and Meio Norte portals practice content convergence and interactivity. It is concluded, therefore, that there are more similarities than differences in the way the two portals are converging their contents and practicing interactivity with their audiences.
