MANUAL PARA IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DA DISCIPLINA DE PROPRIEDADE INTELECTUAL NOS CURSOS DE NÍVEL MÉDIO/TÉCNICO

Abstract

RESUMO: A propriedade intelectual (PI) ainda é uma temática pouco abordada nas instituições de ensino, principalmente, nas escolas de nível médio e técnico. No entanto, é sabido que a proteção à propriedade intelectual é um instrumento de apoio ao desenvolvimento econômico, tecnológico e social de um país. Nessa perspectiva, se faz necessário uma maior disseminação desse conhecimento para melhorar a qualidade do ensino de PI e, consequentemente, contribuir para o desenvolvimento econômico. A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo a elaboração de um manual de orientação para implementação da disciplina de propriedade intelectual, nos cursos de nível médio/técnico do Colégio Técnico de Teresina (CTT). Dessa forma, propõe-se motivar mudanças na estrutura curricular dos cursos pesquisados ou na abordagem das disciplinas já existentes, de modo a conscientizar e dar competências suficientes a comunidade acadêmica para sensibilizar, disseminar e implementar uma cultura de inovação, aprimorando a proteção de capital intangível e transferência de tecnologia. A pesquisa foi do tipo exploratória, que para atingir os objetivos foram realizadas pesquisa bibliográfica, que abordou conceitos de PI, o ensino técnico no Brasil e o ensino de PI e de uma pesquisa documental nos sites das escolas técnicas pesquisadas, onde percebe-se que quase a totalidade das escolas técnicas vinculadas às universidades federais não abordam algum conhecimento sobre PI em seus cursos, mas que existe interesse pelos estudantes em aprender sobre a temática. O resultado da pesquisa foi a criação do “Manual de Implementação da disciplina de Propriedade Intelectual: um guia de orientação para os cursos de nível Médio/Técnico”, que foi realizado de acordo com as especificidades e peculiaridades de cada curso, com as experiências já existentes no Brasil e com base nas Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a educação profissional técnica de nível médio. ABSTRACT: Intellectual property (IP) is still a little addressed topic in educational institutions, especially in high schools and technical schools. However, it is known that the protection of intellectual property is an instrument for supporting the economic, technological and social development of a country. From this perspective, a greater dissemination of this knowledge is necessary to improve the quality of IP education and, consequently, contribute to economic development. The present research aimed at the elaboration of an orientation manual for the implementation of the discipline of intellectual property, in high school/technical courses of the Technical College of Teresina (CTT). Thus, it is proposed to motivate changes in the curricular structure of the courses researched or in the approach of already existing disciplines, in order to raise awareness and give sufficient skills to the academic community to sensitize, disseminate and implement a culture of innovation, enhancing the protection of intangible capital and technology transfer. The research was exploratory, that to achieve the objectives were performed bibliographic research, which addressed concepts of IP, technical education in Brazil and the teaching of IP and a documentary research on the websites of technical schools surveyed, where it appears that almost all the technical schools linked to federal universities do not address some knowledge about IP in their courses, but that interest in by the students in learning about the subject. The result of the research was the creation of the "Implementation Manual for the subject of Intellectual Property: an orientation guide for High School/Technical courses", which was made according to the specificities and peculiarities of each course, with the experiences already existing in Brazil and based on the National Curricular Guidelines for High School Professional Technical Education.
