A ANGÚSTIA DO EXISTIR E A BUSCA PELA FACE DIVINA EM WALMIR AYALA

Abstract

RESUMO:Poeta, ficcionista, ensaísta, teatrólogo, crítico literário, Walmir Ayala é um escritor de dimensão criativa e sensível que pode atrair os mais diferentes leitores. Todavia, sua produção literária permanece pouco contemplada nos estudos acadêmicos de literatura devido a sua pouca reedição ao longo dos anos, permanecendo em um limbo no cenário da Literatura Brasileira. Na presente pesquisa, buscou-se analisar a produção poética de Walmir Ayala, por meio da apreciação e análise de alguns poemas dos livros A pedra iluminada (1976) e Águas como espadas (1983), a partir de uma perspectiva existencialista, situando sua produção literária no contexto do Modernismo Brasileiro. Para tanto, propomos um diálogo entre a trajetória poética do escritor (escritos autoficcionais, artigos de jornais e entrevistas) e a crítica literária em nome de Bosi (2006), Brasil (1973) e Frota (1973; 1986). O objetivo dessa pesquisa é salientar que há, na lírica ayaliana, uma dimensão angustiante diante da existência e a busca pelo sagrado, como superação ou alívio desse sentimento, que aproxima-se da perspectiva existencialista do filósofo Søren Kierkegaard acerca dos mesmos aspectos. A partir dos livros Temor e Tremor (1979), O desespero humano (1979) e O Conceito de angústia (2013), buscou-se compreender como o filósofo concebe o indivíduo e suas contingências, a angústia e o desespero humano, os estádios da existência e a relação absoluta com a esfera sagrada. Além da leitura de Kierkegaard, utilizou-se os pensamentos de Giles (1989), Huisman (2001), Farago (2011), Dreyfus (2012) e Wicks (2012) sobre a filosofia existencialista. Ao final da pesquisa conclui-se que, partindo do estar no mundo, Walmir Ayala, por meio de uma lírica marcadamente imagética e simbólica, reflete poeticamente sobre as possibilidades da existência humana e sobre as angústias que cerceiam o ser humano em toda a sua vivência, que partem do confronto do homem concreto, existente aqui e agora, com o tempo, com a solidão, com a morte e consigo mesmo.

ABSTRACT:Poet, fiction writer, essayist, theatrologist, literary critic, Walmir Ayala is a writer of creative and sensible magnitude that can attract the most varied types of readers. However, his literary production remains underappreciated in literary studies due to its little republishing through the years, remaining in a limbo within the Brazilian Literature stage. In this research, the aim is to analyze the poetic production of Walmir Ayala, through the appreciation and reading of poems from the books A pedra iluminada (1976) and Águas como espadas (1983), from an existentialist perspective, situating its production in the context of Brazilian Modernism. To achieve this, we have proposed a dialogue between the poetic trajectory of the writer (autofiction writings, newspaper articles and interviews) and literary criticism by Bosi (2006), Brasil (1973) and Frota (1973; 1986). The aim of this research is to emphasize that there is in Ayalian poetics an agonizing dimension in the face of existence and the search for the sacred to overcome this feeling, aligning with the existentialist perspective of the philosopher Søren Kierkegaard regarding the same aspects from the books Fear and Trembling (1979), The Sickness Unto Death (1979) and The Concept of Anxiety (2013). In order to base the research, the studies of Giles (1989), Huisman (2001), Farago (2011), Dreyfus (2012), and Wicks (2012) were used regarding existentialist philosophy. By the end of this resarch it can be concluded that, starting from the being-in-the-world, Walmir Ayala, through the literature he produced, poetically reflects, through an oeuvre remarkably imaginative, reflects on the possibilities of existence and the anxieties and despair that confronts the human being throughout its entire existence, which originate from the conflict of the concrete man, which exists here and now, with time, solitude, with death and itself.
