DISCURSOS SOBRE MULHERES NO WEBJORNALISMO PIAUIENSE

Abstract

RESUMO: A presente dissertação investiga os discursos sobre mulheres no webjornalismo piauiense. O objetivo geral é analisar as construções discursivas das notícias jornalísticas que trazem as mulheres como tema central, veiculadas de outubro de 2016 a janeiro de 2017, nos portais de notícias piauienses Cidade Verde e G1/PI. Os objetivos específicos são: - analisar como as mulheres ganham voz, ou são silenciadas, nos discursos jornalísticos dos portais; - mostrar que as mulheres não podem ser classificadas apenas pelo determinante biológico, mas que o feminino é uma construção social; - entender os silenciamentos discursivos dos portais em torno de questões/temas relevantes da atuação social feminina. Para tanto, os fundamentos teóricos do trabalho envolvem os seguintes estudos: sobre mulheres, propostos por autores como Bourdieu (2002), Lipovetsky (2000) e Teles (1999); sobre gênero, de acordo com pensadores como Scott (1995), Butler (2003) e Beauvoir (1980); sobre webjornalismo - jornalismo praticado na internet – na perspectiva de autores como Castells (2003), Dalmonte (2009), Machado e Palácios (2003), Seixas (2003), dentre outros. Em termos metodológicos, a pesquisa adota a Análise de Discurso Crítica (ADC), em três níveis (prática social, prática discursiva e texto), segundo Fairclough (2001). Infere-se, portanto, que as matérias analisadas apresentam discursos sobre mulheres envolvendo as mais diversas esferas sociais. Quando se encontram em posição social de destaque, elas são apresentadas como protagonistas de sua própria história e possuem voz própria nas construções discursivas. As demais mulheres são silenciadas ou apresentadas por outras vozes. ABSTRACT: This dissertation investigates the discourses about women in Piauían webjournalism. The general objective is to analyze the discursive constructions of journalistic subjects that bring women as the central theme, published from October 2016 to January 2017, at the news portals Piauiense Cidade Verde and G1 / PI. The operational objectives are: - to analyze how women gain a voice, or are silenced, in the journalistic discourses of the portals; - show that women can not be classified only by the biological determinant, but that the feminine is a social construction; - understand the discursive silences of the portals around issues / themes relevant to the female social performance. For this, the theoretical foundations of the work involve the following studies: on women, proposed by authors like Bourdieu (2002), Lipovetsky (2000) and Teles (1999); on gender, according to thinkers such as Scott (1995), Butler (2003) and Beauvoir (1980); (2003), Dalmonte (2009), Machado and Palácios (2003), and Seixas (2003), among others. In methodological terms, the research adopts Critical Discourse Analysis (ADC), in three levels (social practice, discursive practice and text), according to Fairclough (2001). It is inferred, therefore, that the analyzed articles present discourses about women involving the most diverse social spheres. When they are in a prominent social position, they are presented as protagonists of their own history and have their own voice in the discursive constructions. The other women are silenced or presented by other voices.
