AS REPRESENTAÇÕES SOCIAIS PARTILHADAS POR PROFESSORES ACERCA DA INTERAÇÂO ENTRE ALUNOS MIGRANTES E NATIVOS DO COLÉGIO AGRÍCOLA DE BOM JESUS – PI.

Abstract

RESUMO: Este trabalho teve como objetivo investigar as Representações Sociais partilhadas por professores acerca da interação entre alunos migrantes e nativos no Colégio Agrícola de Bom Jesus-PI. Para contextualizar o objeto de estudo, procedeu-se uma análise da história da imigração no Brasil e particularmente na cidade de Bom Jesus-PI, além do conhecimento sobre o Multiculturalismo que discute sobre as diferenças de valores, de costumes e de crenças existentes entre indivíduos diferentes entre si. O estudo utiliza como referência a teoria das Representações Sociais (MOSCOVICI, 1998), que fornecem elementos necessários para compreender o que representam os professores acerca do objeto de estudo. Parte do pressuposto de que essas representações orientam os sujeitos em suas práticas em sala de aula. Como instrumento de coleta de dados, utiliza a entrevista semi-estruturada. Os dados foram submetidos a uma análise de conteúdo por meio da técnica de análise categorial, conforme Bardin (2011). Os resultados demonstram que os sujeitos elaboram e partilham representações a respeito dos alunos migrantes. Através dessas representações, é possível perceber que os professores revelam que os migrantes têm um poder aquisitivo e nível cultural elevados, possuem mais facilidade de aprender e são mais motivados. Tais representações exercem um grande poder em relação às atitudes dos professores que procuram trabalhar de forma mais estruturada para poder acompanhar as necessidades desse novo grupo de alunos.-----------------------ABSTRACT: This work had as objective investigates the Social Representations shared by teachers concerning the interaction among migrating and native students in the Agricultural School of Bom Jesus-Pi. For to contextualize the study object, she proceeded an analysis of the history of the immigration in Brazil and particularly in the city of Bom Jesus-Pi, besides the knowledge on Multiculturalism that discusses on the differences of values, of habits and of existent faiths among different individuals amongst themselves. The study uses as reference the theory of the Social Representations (MOSCOVICI, 1998), that supplying necessary elements to understand what represent the teachers concerning the study object. It breaks of the presupposition that those representations guide the subjects in their practices in classroom. As instrument of collection of data, uses the semi-structured interview. The data were submitted a content analysis through the technique of analysis categorial, according to Bardin (2011). The results demonstrate that the subjects elaborate and they share representations regarding the migrating students. Through those representations, it is possible to notice that the teachers reveal that the migrants have a purchasing power and cultural level elevated, they possess more easiness of learning and they are more motivated. Such representations exercise a great power in relation to the teachers' attitudes that try to work in a more way structured to accompany the needs of that new group of students.
