CONSERVAÇÃO E RESTAURO DE BENS MÓVEIS: desafios e perspectivas para a preservação do patrimônio cultural no Piauí.

Abstract

RESUMO: Neste trabalho apresentamos os resultados de Pesquisa-ação desenvolvida no âmbito do Programa de Pós-graduação em Artes, Patrimônio e Museologia, Mestrado Profissional, da Universidade Federal do Piauí, Meio Norte do Brasil. Discorremos sobre problemas e abordagens no campo da preservação do patrimônio cultural móvel, nomeadamente, no Estado do Piauí. Usamos o método da História Oral para a reconstituição de histórias e memórias dos profissionais que fundaram e trabalharam por 30 anos (1987-2017) na única Oficina de Conservação e Restauração de Bens Culturais Móveis do Estado (OR). O problema-ação que se revela nesta investigação é a necessidade da antiga Fundação Cultural do Piauí (FUNDAC) transformada na recém criada Secretaria de Estado da Cultura do Piauí (SECULT, 2015) investir na OR, o que inclui recursos humanos e financeiros, sob pena de contribuir para a extinção da OR, que presta relevantes serviços à sociedade. A investigação firma-se nas teorias do restauro de BRANDI (2004) e VIÑAS (2010), que auxiliam a compreender os processos de trabalho na OR. Ao longo dos estudos, desenvolvemos, igualmente, ações, produtos e serviços: um texto sobre a história da oficina, acompanhado de um documentário, bem como um projeto de criação e instalação de uma Oficina de Conservação do Patrimônio Cultural Móvel, na Universidade Federal do Piauí, sob a gestão do Mestrado Profissional em Artes, Patrimônio e Museologia na cidade de Parnaíba. Realizamos também na fase inicial deste trabalho, atividades teórico-práticas materializadas em cursos de capacitação em conservação e restauro ao longo de 2016 em Teresina e Parnaíba, com os servidores do Estado e comunidade em geral, trabalho que contribuiu para a sensibilização e atribuição de sentidos e significados à formação de seniores e novos profissionais, o que justifica a necessidade de serem realizadas outras ações desta natureza de forma sistemática e continuada. Destacam-se, igualmente, a nossa própria formação no Programa de Pós-graduação e em Centros de Investigação e Laboratórios de Referência em Conservação e Restauro, a exemplo, o Centro de Conservação e Restauração de Bens Culturais Móveis - CECOR, Minas Gerais, Brasil; a Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa; o Insti tuto José de Figueiredo – IJF e na Oficina de Restauro do Museu de Setúbal em Portugal. ABSTRACT: In this work we present the results of Action-Research developed under the Professional Master’s Postgraduate Program in Arts, Heritage and Museology, of the Universidade Federal do Piauí, middle-north of Brazil. We discuss problems and approaches in the field of the preservation of mobile cultural heritage in the Piauí state. We used the Oral History method to reconstruct the professional histories and memories from who founded and worked for about 30 years (1987-2017) in the only workshop on the conservation and restoration of State mobile cultural heritage goods named “Oficina de Restauração” (OR). The problem-action that is revealed in this research is the need of the Cultural Foundation of Piauí (FUNDAC) being transformed into the recently created Secretaria of State of Culture of Piauí (SECULT, 2015) and so, to invest in the needs of the OR which includes human and financial resources, under penalty of contributing to the extinction of the OR, which provides relevant services to society. The research is based on the restoration theories of BRANDI (2004) and VIÑAS (2010), which help to understand the work processes in the OR. Throughout the studies, we also developed actions, products and services: a text on the history of those workshop, accompanied by a documentary, as well as a project to create and install The Workshop on the Conservation of Mobile Cultural Heritage, at the Universidade Federal do Piauí – UFPI, under the management of the Professional Masters in Arts, Heritage and Museology, in the city of Parnaíba. We also carried out, in the initial phase of this research, theoretical and practical activities materialized in training courses in conservation and restoration, during 2016, at Teresina and at Parnaíba, with governament and community in general. This work contributed to the sensitization and atribution of meanings and signifi cation to the formati on of seniors and new professionals, that justifi es the need to carry out other actions of this nature in a systematic and continuous way.
