MEMÓRIAS DA CULTURA: estratégias e táticas de Revestrés na (re)construção das identidades piauienses

Abstract

RESUMO: O jornalismo atua na construção das memórias das coletividades, a partir do enquadramento que faz dos acontecimentos para veiculação midiática em forma de notícias. Desse modo, contribui para a construção e fortalecimento das identidades, dada a legitimidade das suas narrativas e seu lugar credível de fala. Ressaltamos o papel do jornalismo como um lugar de memória, que transpõe o espaço físico, mas abrange também o simbólico, e conduzimos a discussão para o segmento específico do Jornalismo Cultural. Para tanto, escolhemos como objeto de pesquisa uma revista especializada em cultura, cuja veiculação se dá no Piauí: a Revestrés. Assim sendo, esta dissertação tem o propósito de analisar o papel da revista Revestrés na (re)construção das memórias e das identidades piauienses, através do uso de estratégias e táticas dessa publicação. No que se refere aos procedimentos metodológicos, trabalhamos com a pesquisa documental em duas etapas. Inicialmente, realizamos a análise de conteúdo quantitativa para traçarmos o perfil da revista e, em seguida, analisamos, sob uma abordagem qualitativa, as estratégias e táticas empregadas, com vistas à proposição de Michel de Certeau (2014). A amostra foi composta por 22 exemplares publicados nos primeiros quatro anos do periódico, entre 2012 e 2015. Diante do exposto, os resultados mostram que Revestrés contribui potencialmente para a reconstrução das identidades piauienses, a partir da valorização de aspectos diferenciais, mas, ao mesmo tempo, os rastros e indícios mnemônicos afastam-na das culturas interiorana, negra e indígena típicas do estado, as quais obtêm pouca visibilidade. ABSTRACT: Journalism acts in the building of memories of collectivies through the framing it does of the happenings for midiatic broadcast in the form of news. This way, it contributes to the construction and strengthening of identities, given the legitimacy of its narratives and its credible place of speech. We highlight the role of journalism as a place of memory, that transcends the physical space, but also encompasses the symbolic, and we conduct the discussion to the specific segment of Cultural Journalism. For this, we have chosen as objective of research a magazine specialized in culture, which publication happens in Piauí: the Revestrés. Therefore, this dissertation has the purpose of analyzing the role of the Revestrés magazine in the (re)construction of memories and identities of piauienses, through the use of strategies and tactics of this publication. In which concerns the methodological procedures, we work with documental research in two steps. Initially, we conducted a quantitative content analysis to trace the magazine's profile and then analyzed under a qualitative approach, the strategies and tactics employed, having in mind the proposition of Michel de Certeau (2014). The sample was composed of 22 numbers published in the first four years of the magazine, between 2012 and 2015. Given the above, the results show that Revestrés contributes strongly to the reconstruction of piauiense identities, through the valuation of different aspects, but at the same time, mnemonic traces and clues keep it away from inland, black and indigenous cultures typical of the state, which have little visibility.
