INCLUSÃO NA EDUCAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL E TECNOLÓGICA: a experiência do IFMA – Câmpus Codó na visão de seus atores

Abstract

RESUMO: Constitui objeto de estudo desta dissertação o atendimento aos alunos com deficiência no Instituto de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Maranhão – IFMA/Câmpus Codó, na perspectiva dos seus atores, quais sejam, alunos com deficiência e gestores (diretor, professores, supervisor pedagógico e assistente social). Esta pesquisa teve como principal objetivo a análise do atendimento aos estudantes com deficiência, condições para o acesso e permanência destes alunos, incluindo a sua participação nas atividades desenvolvidas na/e pela instituição, e as adaptações ao contexto educacional sejam estruturais, humanas ou adequações metodológicas, dentre outras. Utilizou-se como percurso metodológico a abordagem qualitativa, atuando em três frentes: a pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e de campo (pesquisa empírica) (CELLARD, 1997; MIRIM, 2000). O cenário de pesquisa foi o IFMA – Câmpus Codó. Os/as participantes foram: 05 (cinco) alunos/as com deficiência que ingressaram na instituição nos anos de 2011 a 2013; 04 (quatro) professores; o Diretor Geral do Câmpus; o Supervisor Pedagógico e a Assistente Social. Identificou-se, de acordo com as leituras e releituras das entrevistas, alguns elementos presentes nas falas dos/as participantes, tais como: condições estruturais impeditivas para locomoção na Instituição, a qualidade do ensino ofertado, educação inclusiva na educação profissional e tecnológica e o acompanhamento pedagógico aos discentes com deficiência. Concluiu-se que o Instituto Federal de Educação e Tecnologia Câmpus Codó realizou ações reativas, precisa investir em suas estruturas físicas, na capacitação de profissionais para atender aos alunos com deficiência, proporcionando ensino de qualidade que respeitem suas características, as quais não podem ser determinantes para o seu sucesso ou fracasso, na vida escolar ou no desenvolvimento de outras atividades, pois isto ultrapassa questões individuais, uma vez que são fatores estruturais presentes na sociedade..................ABSTRACT: ABSTRACT It is an object of study of this thesis the service to students with disabilities at the Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão - IFMA / Campus Codó, in view of its actors, namely, students with disabilities and managers (director, teachers, teaching supervisor and social worker). This research aimed to the analysis of care to students with disabilities, conditions for access and permanence of these students, including their participation in the activities developed in / by the institution and the adjustments to the educational context are structural, human, methodological adjustments, among others. Was used as a methodological approach to qualitative approach, working on three fronts: a bibliographical research and field (empirical research) (CELLARD, 1997; MIRIM, 2000). The research scenario was the IFMA - Campus Codó. The / the participants were: five (05) students / the disabled of IFMA Campus Codó who joined the institution in the years 2011-2013; 04 (four) teachers; the General Director of Campus; the Educational Supervisor and the social worker. It was found, according to the reading and rereading of interviews, some categories present in the speeches of / participants, such as hindering structural conditions for getting the institution, the quality of education offered, inclusive education in vocational and technological education and the teaching support to students with disabilities. It was concluded that the Federal Institute of Education and Technology Campus Codó need to invest in their facilities, training of professionals to serve students with disabilities by providing quality education to respect their characteristics, in that they can not be decisive for its success or failure in school life or the development of other activities, as this goes beyond individual issues, since they are structural factors in society.
