COMPLEXO ARQUEOLÓGICO PALMEIRA DE BAIXO EM SÃO MIGUELDO TAPUIO - PIAUÍ

Abstract

RESUMO: O “Complexo Arqueológico Palmeira de Baixo”, localizado no município de São Miguel do Tapuio-Piauí-Brasil, compreende três sítios: Lagoa de Cima, Lagoa de Cima 2 e Lagoa do Meio. Estes apresentando painéis de pinturas rupestres policromos, gravuras em todas as técnicas de confecção, recorrências de motivos e restos esqueletais na superfície localizados no sítio Lagoa de Cima 2. Por ser pioneiro na região, pois apenas o sítio Lagoa de Cima havia sido cadastrado pelas pesquisadoras do Núcleo de Antropologia Pré-Histórica em 1988, primeiramente houve a necessidade de realizar o levantamento mais completo dos sítios, e de seus vestígios, inclusive das sobreposições, e traçar relações entre as pinturas e gravuras, analisar as tonalidades das cores e por fim estabelecer contrastes e similaridades nos aspectos técnico-gráfico, para a concretização destes objetivos o trabalho, em sua maior parte, foi realizado através da análise do material digital. Além dos fatores mencionados por Oliveira (2008), a dificuldade de locomoção aos sítios em estudo prejudicou a análise in situ, que, conforme o planejamento deveria ter ocorrido em diferentes épocas do ano, para acompanhar o comportamento dos painéis em relação a elementos físicos, químicos e biológicos. Apesar do problema mencionado anteriormente, a análise das representações não foi prejudicada, sendo este o foco da pesquisa, por ter sido armazenado um número significativo de registros, reforçando ainda mais a importância do acervo fotográfico no estudo dos painéis rupestres. Após o levantamento realizado em campo Em “gabinete”, ocorreu a etapa de informatização dos dados que foram trabalhados nesta fase com a utilização de programas como o Google Earth para localizar os sítios, Excell na organização da coleta dos dados, entre eles, coordenadas, características gerais dos sítios, motivos encontrados, Adobe Photoshop no destaque dos motivos e o Corel Draw na ilustração das técnicas de confecção das gravuras. O programa Adobe Photoshop foi de suma importância para o trabalho com a visibilidade das imagens, por proporcionar uma melhor visualização espacial das gravuras e pinturas, uma vez que o seu estado avançado de erosão, o que prejudicava a visibilidade nos registros fotográficos, mas também por auxiliar na realização dos desenhos. Através deste foi possível a realização de uma tabela que expõem os motivos e suas recorrências entre os sítios, facilitando a análise. ABSTRACT: The "Archaeological Complex Palmeira de Baixo", located in the municipality of São Miguel do Tapuio-Piaui, Brazil, comprises three sites: Lagoa de Cima, Lagoa de Cima 2 and Lagoa do Meio. These panels featuring polychrome rock paintings, engravings in all manufacturing techniques, motifs recurrences and skeletal remains on the surface located on the site Lagoa de Cima 2. Pioneer in the area because only the Lagoa de Cima site had been registered by the researchers of Prehistoric Anthropology Center in 1988, first it was necessary to carry out the most comprehensive survey of sites, and their traces, including the overlap and draw relationships between the paintings and engravings, analyze the color tones and finally establish contrasts and similarities in technical and graphic aspects, to achieve these objectives the work, for the most part, was conducted through the analysis of digital material. In addition to the factors mentioned by Oliveira (2008), the difficulty of getting to the sites studied damaged the analysis in situ, which, according to the planning should have taken place at different times of the year to monitor the behavior of the panels in relation to physical elements, chemical and biological. Despite the problem mentioned above, the analysis of representations was not affected, which is the focus of research, having been stored a significant number of records, further reinforcing the importance of the photographic collection in the study of rock panels. After the survey conducted in the field in "office", it was the stage of computerization of data that has been worked out at this stage using programs such as Google Earth to locate the sites, Excell in the organization of data collection, including, coordinates, general characteristics of the sites, found reasons, Adobe Photoshop the highlight of the reasons and Corel Draw on the illustration of the engravings making techniques. Adobe Photoshop program was very important to work with the visibility of images, by providing a better spatial view of the engravings and paintings, since its advanced state of erosion, which hampered visibility in photographic records, but also assist in the realization of the drawings. Through this it was possible to hold a table containing the reasons and their recurrences between sites, facilitating analysis.
