Abstract:
ABSTRACT: The study aims to analyze the perception of psychological safety among employees of aBrazilian educational institution and its relationship with job satisfaction. To this end, exploratory and confirmatory multigroup factor analysis procedures were used. The samplecomprised 337 employees of the institution. The results support that psychological safety hasa greater impact on the satisfaction of administrative technicians in education (H1: 0.639; p <0.001) than on teachers (H2: 0.466; p < 0.001) and that some psychological safety factors arenot perceived in the organization, with the highest negative loads felt in both careers beinglinked to the dimensions "speaking openly" and "emotional stability", while the leastsignificant load concerns "inclusive and integral leadership", not perceived only byadministrative technicians. Furthermore, the research validated the Psychological Safety Scale(SEPSI) in Brazil, and the instrument can be reapplied in other institutions.
