LICENCIATURA EM MÚSICA DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO PIAUÍ – UFPI (2009-2015): criação, implementação e reconhecimento

Abstract

RESUMO: O presente estudo coloca em baila a criação e implementação do curso de Licenciatura em Música da Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI) e busca conhecer o processo que o gerou. Sob a concepção da História da Educação, a pergunta norteadora foi elaborada: como se deu o processo de criação, implantação e reconhecimento do curso de Licenciatura em Música da Universidade Federal do Piauí? Os objetivos específicos elaborados com a finalidade de atender à pergunta inicial são os seguintes: conhecer os movimentos e processos que deram origem à Lei 11.769/2008 que fomentou a criação do curso; compreender o trajeto que desencadeou a criação do referido curso na Universidade Federal do Piauí; analisar os preparativos para o seu reconhecimento, bem como a separação do Departamento de Música e Artes Visuais. A pesquisa é teoricamente embasada na História Cultural, com as ideias de Pesavento (2005), Bertucci (2010) e Barros (2011). Metodologicamente, com base na História Oral, na vertente de autores como Lodolini (1990), Alberti (2008) e Grazziotin e Almeida (2012), foram realizadas entrevistas com sete professores envolvidos nesse processo e construção do Projeto Pedagógico de Curso (PPC) de 2010 e em sua atualização, em 2014. Esses relatos foram articulados com os documentos disponibilizados pelo Curso de Licenciatura em Música da Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI), de 2010 a 2014: o Projeto Pedagógico do Curso de Música; as atas do curso; bem como o relatório do processo de reconhecimento do curso emitido pelo Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep), em 2014. Como resultado, ressalta-se que a licenciatura específica em Música foi implementada na UFPI visando atender às demandas das políticas educacionais oriundas do movimento Música na Escola. Como também para que os discentes ingressantes nesta graduação pudessem se qualificar para o mercado de trabalho, com conhecimento pedagógico-musical mais profundo, sem a vastidão de todas as expressões artísticas. ABSTRACT: The present study puts in question the creation and implementation of the Degree in Music at the Federal University of Piauí-UFPI. From this perspective, it seeks to know the process that generated the Degree in Music. Under the conception of the history of education, the guiding question was elaborated: how was the process of creation, implementation and recognition of the degree in music at the Federal University of Piauí? The specific objectives elaborated in order to answer the initial question are the following: to know the movements and processes that gave rise to Law 11.769/2008 that promoted the creation of the course; understand the path that led to the creation of the Degree in Music at the Federal University of Piauí; and to analyze the preparations for the recognition of the course, as well as, the separation of the Department of Music and Visual Arts. It is theoretically grounded in cultural history, with the ideas of Pesavento (2005), Bertucci (2010) and Barros (2011). Methodologically based on Oral History, in the perspective of authors such as Lodolini (1990), Alberti (2008) and Grazziotin and Almeida (2012), interviews were carried out with seven teachers involved in this process and who contributed to the construction of the Pedagogical Course Project - PPC 2010 and its update in 2014. These reports were articulated with the documents made available by the Music Degree Course at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI, 2010;2014), the Pedagogical Project of the Music Course of 2010 and 2014, the minutes of the course from 2010 to 2014, as well as the report of the recognition process of the course issued by Inep in 2014. As a result, it is noteworthy that the specific degree in Music was implemented at UFPI in order to meet the demands of educational policies arising from the movement Music at School. As well as, so that the students entering this graduation could qualify for the job market, with deeper pedagogical-musical knowledge, without the vastness of all artistic expressions.
