A INFÂNCIA IMIGRANTE NA INTERNET: uma análise das imagens de crianças venezuelanas em Teresina no google imagens

Abstract

RESUMO: A história da humanidade sempre esteve marcada pelas imigrações. Nos últimos cinquenta anos, a movimentação de pessoas pelo mundo aumentou consideravelmente, configurando o que hoje conhecemos como “processos de imigração” modernos, motivados por inúmeros fatores (MILESI; MARINUCCI, 2005). Portanto, é fundamental debruçar o olhar sobre a situação das crianças em meio aos fenômenos migratórios, suas violências (microviolências), e as afetações das novas tecnologias na formação das suas identidades e na percepção da sociedade como agentes nacionais. Nessa perspectiva, a pesquisa consiste em analisar as representações de crianças venezuelanas em Teresina-PI, nas telas do Google Imagens. As imagens estão navegando nas telas das mídias digitais e reproduzidas pelo Google Imagens. Ressalte-se que as imagens são recortes da situação das crianças imigrantes venezuelanas no país, em específico na cidade de Teresina-PI que, nos últimos anos, passaram a ser vistas pelas suas ruas e bairros. Mas como são retratadas as crianças venezuelanas nas imagens veiculadas no Google imagens? De que forma essas imagens produzem discursos acerca da infância imigrante? A compreensão dos signos identificados na construção das imagens deu- se em diálogo com autores: Pierce (2003), Santaela (1995,2007), Barthes (2007), Dondis (2001), entre outros. A pesquisa é qualitativa, com fundamento na semiótica pierceana, com destaque nos elementos simbólicos presentes nas representações das imagens veiculadas diante de referenciais estigmatizantes. Foram observadas uma página, com 19 imagens. As conclusões incidem nos signos presentes nas imagens que formam um sujeito frágil e em situação de vulnerabilidade social, associados à elementos que indicam aspectos de pobreza, de descaso, frágeis políticas públicas. ABSTRACT:The history of humanity has always been marked by migrations. In the last fifty years,the movement of people around the world has considerably increased, shaping what we now know as modern "immigration processes," motivated by numerous factors(MILESI; MARINUCCI, 2005). Therefore, it is crucial to focus on the situation of children amidst migratory phenomena, their (micro)violences, and the impacts of new technologies on the formation of their identities and the perception of society as national agents. From this perspective, the research aims to analyze the representations of Venezuelan children in Teresina-PI, on the screens of Google Images. The images are circulating on the screens of digital media and are reproduced by Google Images. It should be noted that these images are snapshots of the situation of Venezuelan immigrant children in the country, specifically in the city of Teresina-PI, who in recent years have come to be seen on its streets and neighborhoods. But how are Venezuelan children portrayed in the images disseminated on Google Images? In what way do these images generate discourses about immigrant childhood? The understanding of the signs identified in the construction of the images was achieved hrough dialogue with authors such as Pierce (2003), Santaela (1995, 2007), Barthes(2007), Dondis (2001), among others. The research is qualitative, based on Peircean semiotics, with a focus on the symbolic elements present in the representations of the images conveyed within stigmatizing reference points. A total of 19 images on one page were observed. The conclusions center on the signs present in the images that portray a fragile subject in a situation of social vulnerability, associated with elements indicating poverty, neglect, and weak public policies.
