A POLÍTICA DE SALTO: a participação feminina na política piauiense - 1970 a 1998

Abstract

RESUMO: Este trabalho analisa a inserção feminina na política piauiense, de 1970 a 1998, tendo como meta compreender como as mulheres foram fazendo parte de um espaço tradicionalmente masculino, a política. Na construção do texto, utilizamos como documentos, os jornais e entrevistas, para nos ajudar a entender como se configurou, através das transformações históricas e do próprio depoimento de algumas mulheres, a participação feminina na política. Aliada a essa documentação, a bibliografia, funcionou, como um elo entre a fonte primária e o que existia enquanto construção historiográfica, assim trabalhamos com a história das mulheres, com Joan Scott, memória, com Maurice Halbwachs e subjetividade, com Félix Guatarri. No período estudado podemos observar um crescimento da participação feminina no espaço público e político. No espaço político a participação feminina pode ser caracterizada com avanços, recuos e singularidades de algumas mulheres que não estavam mais atreladas, apenas, ao espaço privado. O trabalho busca contribuir com mais um olhar sobre a história das mulheres, explorando um tema ainda não enfatizado pela academia piauiense. ABSTRACT: This work analyses the feminine insertion in the Piaui politics, from 1970 to 1998, having like understanding mark how the women were making part of a traditionally masculine space, the politics. In the construction of the text, we used documents, newspapers and interviews, to help to understand us how if it shaped, through the historical transformations and the testimony itself of some women, the feminine participation in the politics. When it allied to this documentation, the bibliography, it worked, like a link between the primary fountain and what was existing while a history construction, we worked with the history of the women, with Joan Scott, memory, with Maurice Halbwachs and subjectivity, with Félix Guatarri. In the studied period we can observe a growth of the feminine participation in the public and political space. In the political space the feminine participation can be characterized by advancements, retreats and peculiarities of some women who were not more harnessed, only, to the private space. The work looks to contribute with one more glance on the history of the women, exploring a subject still not emphasized by the academy from Piaui.
