“UMA GRANDE, CONSCIENTE E ORGANIZADA PORÇÃO DE MULHERES”: as narrativas feministas do Jornal Mulherio (1981-1988)

Abstract

RESUMO: O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar as narrativas publicadas no jornal Mulherio (1981-1988). Idealizado por pesquisadoras da Fundação Carlos Chagas (FCC), em São Paulo (SP), o impresso teve 42 edições ao todo, sendo a primeira publicada em 1981. A análise das edições previamente selecionadas do periódico é feita de modo interpretativo e com caráter qualitativo, orientada pela hermenêutica da consciência histórica proposta pelo filósofo francês Paul Ricoeur, em sua obra Tempo e Narrativa (2010). Tal conceito, aplicado no percurso analítico-interpretativo dessa pesquisa, tem como entrada principal o círculo hermenêutico, que constitui a narrativa em três etapas: a prefiguração por parte de um autor, com base na sua experiência e pré-compreensão do mundo; a configuração do mundo vivido e compreendido pelo autor, através da escrita do texto; e, por fim, a refiguração realizada pelo leitor do texto. Conceitos-chave como tempo, narrativa, mímesis e tradição se destacam no decorrer da dissertação. A amostra intencional deste trabalho é composta por 10 narrativas extraídas do jornal, publicadas em edições diferentes, cada uma. A partir disso, delimitamos os seguintes objetivos específicos: investigar o surgimento e criação do jornal Mulherio; observar o contexto histórico e sociocultural no qual o jornal estava inserido; identificar quem eram as mulheres que escreviam para o jornal, a partir das narrativas; e averiguar se o periódico contribuiu e como se deu essa contribuição para a imprensa brasileira e mais especificamente para a imprensa feminista na década de 1980. Essa pesquisa se justifica pela necessidade de estudos sobre a imprensa feminista brasileira nas décadas passadas, tendo em vista que as investigações com tal recorte precisam ser fortalecidas.

ABSTRACT The present work aims to analyze the narratives published in the Mulherio newspaper (1981-1988). Conceived by researchers from the Carlos Chagas Foundation (FCC), in São Paulo (SP), the print had a total of 42 editions, the first being published in 1981. The analysis of previously selected editions of the journal is done in an interpretative and qualitative manner, guided by the hermeneutics of historical consciousness proposed by the French philosopher Paul Ricoeur, in his work Time and Narrative (2010). This concept, applied in the analytical-interpretative path of this research, has as its main entrance the hermeneutic circle, which constitutes the narrative in three stages: the prefiguration by an author, based on his experience and pre-understanding of the world; the configuration of the world lived and understood by the author, through the writing of the text; and, finally, the refiguration performed by the reader of the text. Key concepts such as time, narrative, mimesis and tradition stand out throughout the dissertation. The intentional sample of this work is composed of 10 narratives extracted from the newspaper, published in different editions, each one. From this, we delimited the following specific objectives: to investigate the emergence and creation of the Mulherio newspaper; observe the historical and sociocultural context in which the newspaper was inserted; identify who were the women who wrote for the newspaper, based on the narratives; and to find out if the journal contributed and how this contribution was made to the Brazilian press and more specifically to the feminist press in the 1980s. This research is justified by the need for studies on the Brazilian feminist press in past decades, considering that the investigations with such a cut need to be strengthened.
