RELAÇÕES SOCIAIS E CONFLITOS: as dimensões da organização sócio-política da capoeira em Teresina

Abstract

RESUMO: O objeto de pesquisa desse trabalho são as relações estabelecidas entre os grupos de capoeira da cidade de Teresina, sobretudo, as relações construídas pelo Grupo Muzenza de Capoeira (GMC) e a Associação Cultural Movimentação Capoeira (ACMC). Ao adentrar na realidade desses grupos, em seus treinos, rodas e eventos de várias finalidades, realizados de maneira independente e/ou em parceria com outros grupos, tive a possibilidade de compreender que as relações contemporâneas entre os membros da “comunidade da capoeira de Teresina” se constitui de maneira processual, principalmente, em torno da gestão da violência e/ou do conflito. O primeiro capítulo tenciona demonstrar como se constituiu a delimitação do campo de pesquisa, a metodologia desenvolvendo uma categoria central para análise das relações entre os grupos, que é o conflito. Já o segundo, procura compreender a realidade histórica de constituição da capoeira de Teresina, demonstrando como as relações se constituíram e definem a organização social da capoeira dessa cidade. O terceiro capítulo foca na sistematização dos mecanismos organizacionais que organizam os grupos, tendo como ponto central o sistema de graduação, para em seguida demonstrar que as relações extrapolam os limites da normatização. O posicionamento metodológico, que teve como fio condutor a etnografia, foi construído ao longo da pesquisa com a minha participação ativa na realidade do GMC e da ACMC, o que me permitiu observar, participar e intervir em diversas “situações sociais”, e teve como objetivo compreender como as relações de conflito se estabelecem e como elas se regulam e são reguladas na “comunidade da capoeira de Teresina”.

ABSTRACT: The object of research of this work is the relations established between the capoeira groups of the city of Teresina, mainly, the relations built by the Grupo Muzenza de Capoeira (GMC) and the Associação Cultural Movimentação Capoeira (ACMC). Upon entering the reality of these groups, in their training, circles and events of various purposes, carried out independently and / or in partnership with other groups, I had the possibility to understand that the contemporary relations between the members of the “capoeira community of Teresina ”Is constituted in a procedural way, mainly around the management of violence and / or conflict. The first chapter intends to demonstrate how the delimitation of the research field, the methodology was constituted and to develop a central category for the analysis of the relations between the groups, that the conflict. The second, on the other hand, seeks to understand the historical reality of the constitution of capoeira in Teresina, demonstrating how the relations were constituted and define the social organization of capoeira in that city. The third chapter focuses on the systematization of the organizational mechanisms that organize the groups, having the graduation system as the central point, and then demonstrating that the relations go beyond the limits of the norms. The methodological positioning, which had as its guiding thread the ethnographic, which was being built throughout the research with my active participation in the reality of the GMC and the ACMC, which allowed me to observe, participate and intervene in several “social situations”, and aimed to understand how conflict relations are established and how they are regulated and regulated in the “capoeira community of Teresina”.
