VALIDAÇÃO DE INSTRUMENTO SOBRE COMPETÊNCIAS DE ENFERMEIROS PARA PREVENÇÃO E CONTROLE DE INFECÇÕES NA ATENÇÃO DOMICILIAR

Abstract

RESUMO: Introdução: A prevenção e controle de infecções no ambiente domiciliar levam a inúmeras investigações que são levantadas pelos pesquisadores. A formação em enfermagem deve contemplar a ampliação das competências, em especial dos enfermeiros, pois perfaz o cuidado contínuo e de qualidade aos pacientes. Objetivo: Validar um instrumento sobre as competências de enfermeiros para prevenção e controle de infecções na atenção domiciliar. Método: Trata-se de um estudo metodológico a luz da teoria psicométrica proposta por Pasquali, que percorreu três polos distintos; teórico, empírico e analítico. O instrumento foi avaliado quantitativamente por dois grupos de especialistas em duas etapas (rodadas) por meio da técnica Delphi e, qualitativamente, por meio da técnica brainstorming. Para cumprir o polo teórico, foram realizadas revisões da literatura. Para o polo empírico foi realizada a seleção dos dois primeiros juízes e na sequência, por meio da técnica snowboll (bola de neve), selecionou-se 15 juízes para participarem das análises quantitativa e qualitativa dos dados. Para a análise quantitativa dos dados utilizou-se os testes estatísticos Índice de Validade de Conteúdo (IVC) e Coeficiente Kappa (K) processados pelo software Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) versão 22.0. Resultados: evidenciou-se 13 estudos na etapa de revisão da literatura para atualização do instrumento. Na primeira rodada de avaliações entre os juízes houve concordância no que tange a validade de conteúdo e aparência, porém o IVC indicou a necessidade de qualificação do construto, assim, reestruturou-se o instrumento com base na avaliação dos peritos. Na segunda rodada de avaliação de juízes o conteúdo e aparência do instrumento atingiu os scores desejados de IVC maior ou igual a 0,80 e K, maior ou superior a 0,60. Conclusão: o construto foi validado em território nacional (Brasil) sob opiniões de experts para ser utilizado na atenção domiciliar e avaliação de conhecimentos e práticas na enfermagem, atingindo os scores necessários para a avaliação de competências.

ABATRACT: Introduction: The prevention and control of infections in the home environment lead to numerous investigations that are raised by researchers. Nursing training should include the expansion of skills, especially for nurses, as it provides continuous and quality care to patients. Objective: To validate an instrument on the skills of nurses for the prevention and control of infections in home care. Method: This is a methodological study based on the psychometric theory proposed by Pasquali, which covered three distinct poles; theoretical, empirical and analytical. The instrument was assessed quantitatively by two groups of specialists in two stages (rounds) using the Delphi technique and, qualitatively, using the brainstorming technique. To fulfill the theoretical pole, literature reviews were carried out. For the empirical pole, the selection of the first two judges was carried out and then, through the snowboll technique (snowball), 15 judges were selected to participate in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data. For the quantitative analysis of the data, the Content Validity Index (IVC) and Kappa Coefficient (K) statistical tests were used, processed by the software Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 22.0. Results: there were 13 studies in the literature review stage to update the instrument. In the first round of evaluations between the judges, there was agreement regarding the content and appearance validity, however the CVI indicated the need for qualification of the construct, thus, the instrument was restructured based on the experts' evaluation. In the second round of judges' evaluation, the content and appearance of the instrument reached the desired CVI scores greater than or equal to 0.80 and K, greater than or greater than 0.60. Conclusion: the construct was validated in national territory (Brazil) under expert opinions to be used in home care and assessment of knowledge and practices in nursing, reaching the necessary scores for the assessment of skills.
