SUPERFÍCIES DE CURVATURA MÉDIA CONSTANTE COM BORDO LIVRE

Abstract

RESUMO: Nesta dissertaçao, temos que uma hipersuperfície com bordo livre de uma variedade e ponto crítico do funcional area restrito a todas as variações admissíveis que preservam volume. Neste caso, temos uma caracterizaçãoao especial, possuir curvatura média constante. Aqui, estudamos soluções estáveis do problema e obtemos várias restrições topológicas e geométricas para esse tipo de superfície em domínios convexos limitados. No caso particular de uma bola euclidiana unitária no R3 Antônio Ros e Enaldo Vergasta [17] obtiveram resultados bem mais satisfatórios. Tais resultados foram obtidos no artigo Stability for Hypersurfaces of Constant Mean Curvature with Free Boundary. ABSTRACT: In this dissertation, we have that a hypersurface with a free boundary of a manifold is a critical point of the functional area restricted to all admissible variations that preserve the volume. In this case, we have a special characterization, having constant mean curvature. Here, we study stable solutions to the problem and obtain several topological and geometric restrictions for this type of surface in limited convex domains. In the particular case of a single Euclidean ball at R3 Ant^onio Ros and Enaldo Vergasta [17] got much more satisfactory results. Such results were obtained in the article Stability for Hypersurfaces of Constant Mean Curvature with Free Boundary.
