PERCEPÇÃO DOS PROFESSORES DA REDE PÚBLICA DE ENSINO SOBRE SUA SAÚDE NO CONTEXTO DA PANDEMIA DA COVID-19 EM UM ESTADO DO NORDESTE

Abstract

RESUMO: INTRODUÇÃO: A pandemia da Covid-19 alterou as emoções sentidas pelo professor. É importante reconhecer e refletir sobre as dificuldades que surgiram após a suspensão das aulas presenciais devido a pandemia da Covid-19. OBJETIVO: Avaliar as emoções dos professores na pandemia da COVID-19 no estado do Piauí. MÉTODOS: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, quantitativo, descritivo realizado com docentes da rede pública de ensino do estado do Piauí. A coleta ocorreu no período de 29 de setembro a 10 de dezembro de 2020. As variáveis referem-se as características sociodemográficas, emoções, percepção de saúde e percepção da situação dos alunos. Aplicou-se o modelo de análise bivariada pelo teste Qui-quadrado de Pearson, considerando o nível de significância a 5% para verificar as associações e para analisar a confiabilidade do questionário, calculou-se a consistência interna pelo coeficiente alfa de Cronbach. RESULTADOS: Observou-se que houve associação significativa com emoções, as características sociodemográficas: sexo (p: 0,000), idade (p: 0,038) e cor de pele (p: 0,038). Assim como entre a percepção do professor e emoções (p: 0,000) e entre expectativa de oposição e emoções (p: 0,023). Quanto a percepção do professor em relação a sua saúde e trabalho 42,6% classificaram como bastante satisfeito; sobre a situação dos alunos durante a pandemia da covid-19, 50,1% concordaram parcialmente que houve danos causados aos alunos. Quanto as emoções, 90,2% têm o sentimento de desesperança; 56,8% possuem boas expectativas quando a pandemia da covid-19 acabar. CONCLUSÃO: A desesperança foi a emoção mais percebida pelos professores. Por conseguinte, os professores perceberam-se satisfeitos com sua saúde e trabalho. Não houve influência das características sociodemográficas sobre a desesperança percebida. Além do que afirmarem ter boas expectativas quando a pandemia acabar. Quanto a situação dos alunos, identificou-se que concordaram parcialmente que houve danos. Portanto é necessário um estudo mais específico sobre os aspectos psicológicos afetados durante e após a pandemia. Os dados produzidos nesse estudo, permite aos gestores uma reflexão e pontuação de informações relevantes para a formulação de programas e estratégias direcionadas as necessidades de saúde do professor. ABSTRACT: INTRODUCTION: The Covid-19 pandemic changed the emotions felt by the teacher.It is important to recognize and reflect on the difficulties that arose after the suspension of classroom classes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. OBJECTIVE: Evaluate the emotions of teachers in the COVID-19 pandemic in the state of Piauí. METHODS: This is a cross-sectional, quantitative, descriptive study carried out with public school teachers in the state of Piauí. Data collection took place from September 29 to December 10, 2020. The variables refer to sociodemographic characteristics, emotions, perception of health and perception of the students' situation. The bivariate analysis model was applied by Pearson's chi-square test, considering the significance level at 5% to verify the associations and to analyze the questionnaire's reliability, the internal consistency was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. RESULTS: It was observed that there was a significant association with emotions, sociodemographic characteristics: gender (p: 0.000), age (p: 0.038) and skin color (p: 0.038). As well as between the teacher's perception and emotions (p: 0.000) and between opposition expectations and emotions (p: 0.023). As for the teacher's perception of their health and work, 42.6% classified it as very satisfied; about the situation of students during the covid-19 pandemic, 50.1% partially agreed that there was damage to students. As for emotions, 90.2% have the feeling of hopelessness; 56.8% have good expectations when the covid-19 pandemic ends. CONCLUSION: Hopelessness was the emotion most perceived by teachers. Consequently, the teachers felt satisfied with their health and work. There was no influence of sociodemographic characteristics on perceived hopelessness. In addition to claiming to have good expectations when the pandemic ends. As for the situation of the students, it was identified that they partially agreed that there was damage. Therefore, a more specific study of the psychological aspects affected during and after the pandemic is needed. The data produced in this study allows managers to reflect and score relevant information for the formulation of programs and strategies aimed at the teacher's health needs.
