ESTUDO QUÍMICO E BIOLÓGICO EM VENENOS DE SAPOS DA FAMÍLIA BUFONIDAE

Abstract

RESUMO: O presente relatório apresenta um estudo químico-farmacológico do veneno do sapo da espécie Rhinella jimi (Bufonidae) encontrado nos biomas Cerrado e Caatinga do estado do Piauí. No estudo realizado até o presente momento foi feito o isolamento, identificação, desenvolvimento metodológico e atividade biológica do veneno desta espécie. O desenvolvimento do projeto também está contribuindo na formação acadêmica de alunos de graduação e pós-graduação visto que possui uma relevância multidisciplinar que reúne as experiências em estudos de técnicas modernas de análise cromatográfica, isolamento e determinação estrutural das substâncias de interesse. ABSTRACT: This report presents a chemical-pharmacological study of the poison from Rhinella jimi (Bufonidae) toad found in the Cerrado and Caatinga biomes of the state of Piauí. In the study were realized the isolation, identification, methodological development and biological activity of the poison of this species. The development of the project is also contributing to the academic formation of undergraduate and graduate students as it has a multidisciplinary relevance that brings together experiences in studies of modern techniques of chromatographic analysis, isolation and structural determination of the substances of interest.
