dc.description.abstract	RESUMO:O presente trabalho aborda a teoria fundamental de representação de números reais numa base qualquer, evidenciando as diferentes bases e maneiras como essa representação pode ser feita. Em nossa teoria daremos enfase a representação de números reais numa base arbitraria, por´em enriquecida com um grande numero de exemplos em bases específicas (decimal, binaria, octal, etc), de modo a deixar o texto ao mesmo tempo matematicamente rigoroso e acessível tanto a professores como a estudantes curiosos do ensino médio. ABSTRACT:The present work deals with the foundamental theory of representation of real numbers on arbitrary basis, showing the different bases and maners how the representation of a real number happen. In our theory we emphasize the representation of real numbers on arbitrary bases, but enriched with large number of exemples on specific bases, such as decimal, binary, octal, etc, so as to make the text to be both mathematically rigorous and accessible to teaches as well as to high school studants.	pt_BR
