Abstract:
RESUMO:O Brasil é referência mundial em biodiversidade de aves por apresentar grande diversidade de ambientes. Além de favorecer a diversidade de espécies residentes, tais características também tornam o Brasil uma importante rota de migração para muitas espécies. São reconhecidas 1919 espécies de aves no território nacional, das quais 120 são visitantes e 66 têm ocorrência pontual ou mesmo acidental, sendo admitidas como vagantes. O objetivo geral foi comparar a composição da avifauna migratória em diferentes pontos do litoral do Piauí. As coletas de dados foram realizadas em 10 pontos do litoral do Piauí, sendo um ponto situado no município de Ilha Grande, sete pontos no município de Parnaíba e dois no município de Luis Correia. Foram realizados levantamentos quali-quantitativos das aves migratórias de abril de 2009 a fevereiro de 2016 a partir da observação com binóculos e captura em redes de neblina. O guia ilustrado para crianças foi elaborado a partir de desenhos feitos manualmente das espécies de aves migratórias do litoral piauiense. Foram registradas 82 espécies de aves migratórias pertencentes a 13 ordens e 28 famílias, sendo 41 migrantes intracontinentais, 26 espécies visitantes do Hemisfério Norte, 14 nômades e uma vagante. Observou-se diferença significativa na composição das espécies migratórias entre os diferentes pontos amostrais. As espécies migrantes intracontinentais apresentaram maior ocorrência entre os meses de janeiro a julho, as visitantes do Hemisfério Norte são mais abundantes no mês de novembro, diminuindo sua ocorrência a partir do mês de março. As espécies nômades foram constantes durante todos os meses do ano. O litoral piauiense é uma importante área para conservação de aves migratórias por apresentar diversos ambientes que favorecem a permanência tanto de espécies que realizam pequenos deslocamentos, como de espécies que realizam movimentos entre diferentes continentes. A conservação desses ambientes favorece a manutenção de populações viáveis das espécies migratórias e a perpetuação dos movimentos sazonais.
ABSTRACT:Brazil is a world reference in bird biodiversity because it presents a great variety of environments. In addition to favoring the diversity of resident species, such characteristics also make Brazil an important migration route for many species. 1919 species of birds are recognized in the national territory, of which 120 are visitors and 66 are occurring on time or even accidental, being admitted as vagrants. The general objective was to compare the composition of the migratory avifauna in different points of the coast of Piauí. Data collection was carried out in 10 points of the coast of Piauí, one point in the municipality of Ilha Grande, seven points in the municipality of Parnaíba and two in the municipality of Luis Correia. Qualitative quantitative surveys of migratory birds from April 2009 to February 2016 were carried out from binocular observation and capture in mist networks. The illustrated guide for children was drawn from drawings made manually of migratory bird species from the Piauían coast. Eighty-two species of migratory birds belonging to 13 orders and 28 families were recorded, 41 intra-continental migrants, 26 visiting species from the Northern Hemisphere, 14 nomads and one vagrant. A significant difference in the composition of the migratory species was observed between the different sampling points. The intracontinental migratory species had a higher occurrence between January and July, visitors from the Northern Hemisphere were more abundant in November, decreasing their occurrence as of March. The nomadic species were constant during all months of the year. The Piauían coast is an important area for the conservation of migratory birds because it presents several environments that favor the permanence of both species that carry out small displacements, as well as of species that carry out movements between different continents. The conservation of these environments favors the maintenance of viable populations of migratory species and the perpetuation of seasonal movements.
