CORPO, GÊNERO E NOME: EXPERIÊNCIAS IDENTITÁRIAS DE TRAVESTIS E TRANSEXUAIS DE TERESINA - PI A PARTIR DO USO DO NOME SOCIAL

Abstract

RESUMO:Apresento neste trabalho uma discussão acerca da tríade corpo x gênero x nome nas experiências de travestis e transexuais em Teresina (PI) partir do uso do nome social. A etnografia que aqui se constitui tem como base a Antropologia do Nome e Nomeação, em particular, o trabalho de Gabrielle vom Bruck e Barbara Bodenhorn e fragmenta-se em três cenários diferentes para análise da nome social e da documentação desse nome nas vidas de pessoas travestis e transexuais em Teresina. O primeiro cenário analisado é o Centro de Referência LGBTT “Raimundo Pereira”, aqui apresentado como um espaço de construção de identidades políticas e escolhido por ser o local onde se viabiliza a retirada da Carteira de Identificação do Nome Social. O segundo cenário constitui-se de uma vivência mais próxima de uma travesti “não-documentada” e seu processo para retirada de documentos. Por fim, o terceiro cenário, onde analisa-se o julgamento de um crime supostamente com cunho transfóbico ocorrido na cidade de Teresina e a dicotomia nome civil x nome social aí ressaltada dentro do âmbito jurídico.ABSTRACT:I present in this paperwork a discussion about the triad body x gender x name among the experiences of travesties and transsexuals people in the city of Teresina (PI) starting from the usage of their social name. This etnography is based on the Anthropology of Name and Naming, especially the work of Gabrielle vom Bruck and Barbara Bodenhorn, and it breaks up in three different scenarios to analyze the social name and their documents among the lives of travesties and transsexual people in Teresina. The first scenario is the Centro de Referência LGBTT “Raimundo Pereira”, presented here as a space to build political identities and chosen because it’s where the Social Name Identification Document might be achieved by them. The second scenario is a closer experience with a “non-documented” travesty and presents her process of documentation. At last, the third scenario shows an analysis of the trial of a supposed transphobic crime ocorred in Teresina and the dichotomy between the usage of civil name x social name there in the juridical field.
