MARCAS DO PROCESSO DE CONVERGÊNCIA NO WEBJORNALISMO PIAUIENSE: ANÁLISE DOS PORTAIS DE NOTÍCIAS CIDADE VERDE E G1/PI

Abstract

RESUMO:As práticas jornalísticas da atualidade estão inseridas nos contextos da tecnologia e do processo de convergência midiática principalmente na internet. Isto faz com que faz os meios de comunicação busquem a integração dos seus suportes midiáticos, reorganizando estratégiasABSTRACT:Today's journalistic practices are embedded in contexts of technology and the process of media convergence especially on the internet. Thus, the present dissertation has as general objective to analyze the marks of the convergence process in the webjournalism of the Piauiense news portals Cidade Verde and G1 / PI, in order to understand how this process contributes to the construction of the news content of said vehicles. The specific objectives are: - to analyze the news content of the portals, from the subjects, highlighted in the homepage, originating from other vehicles of the group, identifying the marks of the convergence process; - dentify how journalistic and business convergence strategies are adopted and put into practices in the portals; - compare the positive and negative aspects of the marks of the process of convergence practiced by the portals. It is based on the following research hypotheses: - the Cidade Verde and G1 / PI portals present in their news content characteristics of a webjournalism marked by the simple transposition of content between vehicles of the same group, with little or no specific language adaptation for the web, which reflects a redundancy in the published material; - the professionals who work in these portals most of the time know efficient strategies to achieve convergence according to what scholars recommend in the area, but do not incorporate such strategies into the production routines; - both the Cidade Verde portal and the G1 / PI portal carry news content with multiplatform features, integrating different media from the same group, but without strategically adapting its content to the specifics of the online environment and the internet convergence process. The theoretical framework includes authors who work on webjournalism and media convergence, such as Barbosa (2002, 2005, 2009), Jenkins (2001; 2009), Salaverría (2005), among others. The methodological procedures include the Content Analysis (CA) technique, for the analysis of journalistic material of the portals, as well as the interview resource, carried out with the professionals working in the analyzed portals. It is concluded, therefore, that the analyzed portals have strong marks of the practice of convergence, and the Green City stands out for the content and business dimensions, with innovative practices, while the G1 / PI still has a type of webjournalism with characteristics of content transposition and without many innovations in the other dimensions. empresariais, fluxos de conteúdos e ações profissionais. Desse modo, a presente dissertação tem como objetivo geral analisar as marcas do processo de convergência no webjornalismo dos portais de notícias piauienses Cidade Verde e G1/PI, a fim de entender como este processo contribui para a construção dos conteúdos noticiosos dos referidos veículos. Os objetivos específicos são: - analisar o conteúdo noticioso dos portais, a partir das matérias, em destaque na homepage, originadas de outros veículos do grupo, identificando as marcas do processo de convergência; - identificar de que forma as estratégias jornalísticas e empresariais de convergência são adotadas e postas em práticas nos portais; - comparar os aspectos positivos e negativos das marcas do processo de convergência praticado pelos portais. Partese, assim, das seguintes hipóteses de pesquisa: - os portais Cidade Verde e G1/PI apresentam em seus conteúdos noticiosos características de um webjornalismo marcado pela simples transposição de conteúdos entre veículos do mesmo grupo, com pouca ou nenhuma adaptação de linguagem específica para a web, o que reflete uma redundância nas matérias publicadas; - os profissionais que trabalham nos referidos portais, na maioria das vezes, conhecem estratégias eficientes para realizarem a convergência de acordo com o que recomendam os estudiosos da área, mas não incorporam tais estratégias às rotinas de produção noticiosa; - tanto o portal Cidade Verde como o G1/PI veiculam conteúdos noticiosos com características multiplataforma, integrando suportes distintos do mesmo grupo, mas sem adaptar de forma estratégica seus conteúdos às especificidades do ambiente online e do processo de convergência na internet. O referencial teórico inclui autores que trabalham as temáticas do webjornalismo e do processo de convergência midiática, tais como Barbosa (2002; 2005; 2009), Jenkins (2001; 2009), Salaverría (2005), dentre outros. Os procedimentos metodológicos incluem a técnica da Análise de Conteúdo (AC), para análise das matérias jornalísticas dos portais, bem como o recurso da entrevista, realizada junto aos profissionais que trabalham nos portais analisados. Conclui-se, portanto, que os portais analisados possuem fortes marcas da prática da convergência, sendo que o Cidade Verde destaca-se pelas dimensões de conteúdos e empresarial, com práticas inovadoras, enquanto o G1/PI ainda possui um tipo de webjornalismo com características de transposição de conteúdos e sem muitos inovações nas outras dimensões.
