ITINERÁRIOS TERAPÊUTICOS DA POPULAÇÃO TRANS EM UM MUNICÍPIO DO NORDESTE BRASILEIRO.

Abstract

RESUMO: INTRODUÇÃO: Apesar de ser inegável que importantes conquistas sociais foram alcançadas pela população de lésbicas, gays, bissexuais, transexuais, queer, intersexuais e outras denominações, ainda há muito o que se discutir, em especial, no que tange ao acesso aos serviços de saúde no Brasil. Esse contexto torna-se ainda mais complexo quando essa discussão está relacionada à população transexual. OBJETIVO: Compreender os itinerários terapêuticos percorridos pela população trans em um município do nordeste brasileiro, Timon – Maranhão. MÉTODO: Pesquisa qualitativa realizada no município de Timon – Maranhão. Foram realizadas entrevistas individuais e semi-estruturadas com oito pessoas trans. A análise dos dados deu-se a partir do referencial teórico da hermenêutica de Paul Ricoeur. RESULTADOS: A partir dos discursos dos sujeitos da pesquisa foram reconhecidas três unidades de significado: “a construção do ser-trans”, “o acesso à saúde da população (trans)tornada” e também “itinerários terapêuticos (trans)formados”. Foi possível identificarmos diversos aspectos que interferem no processo de construção do “ser trans”, como discriminação e preconceito, violências sofridas no ambiente familiar e no espaço da rua; quanto ao acesso, observamos que este é, consideravelmente, prejudicado devido a questões institucionais, o que define o itinerário percorrido por esta população, em especial, na perspectiva da busca pelos espaços informais de cuidado à saúde, a exemplo das bombadeiras e clínicas clandestinas. CONSIDERAÇÕES: A população trans sofre preconceito e violência em quase todos os espaços que transita. Violência essa, muitas vezes, velada e expressada de forma clara por parte daqueles que a praticam. Encontrou-se uma população segregada, diversas vezes esquecida e prejudicada quanto aos direitos constitucionais de saúde, educação, trabalho, dentre outros. ABSTRACT: INTRODUCTION: Although it is undeniable that important social achievements have been achieved by the LGBTQ + population, there is still much to be discussed, especially regarding access to health services in Brazil. This context becomes even more complex when this discussion is related to the transexual population. OBJECTIVE: To understand the therapeutic itineraries taken by the trans population in a northeastern Brazilian municipality, Timon - Maranhão, and to investigate the nuances related to the contact with each of these equipments and services. METHOD: qualitative research on the therapeutic itineraries taken by the trans population in the city of Timon, Maranhão. Individual and semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight trans people (two men and six women). Data analysis was based on the theoretical framework of Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutics. RESULTS: From the discourses of the research subjects, three meaning units were recognized: “the construction of ser-trans”, “access to health of the (trans) transformed population” and also “therapeutic (trans) formed itineraries”. It was possible to identify several aspects that interfere in the construction process of the “being-trans”, such as discrimination and prejudice, violence suffered in the family environment and in the street space as well; As for access, we observed that it is considerably impaired due to institutional issues, which defines the itinerary traveled by this population, especially from the perspective of the search for informal spaces for health care, such as the bombers and clandestine clinics. CONSIDERATIONS: The trans population suffers prejudice and violence in almost all spaces that transit. This violence, often veiled and many others expressed clearly by those who practice it, as a result, we find a segregated population, often forgotten and many others harmed as the constitutional rights of health, education, work, among others.
