Abstract:
No hemograma apenas a variável CHCM apresentou efeito
significativo (p<0,05).
ABSTRACT
The objective of this work was to analyze the effect of different levels of aqueous garlic extract concentration on hemogram, physiological parameters and mean weight gain of pigs in day care phase. Twenty-four animals from the cross breed of Large White breeders and Landrace breeders were used in a completely randomized design with
four treatments and six replicates. The animals were randomly distributed in four stalls each containing six piglets, 2 mL of distilled water (control treatment) and 2 mL of aqueous extract of garlic were administered daily in the different proportions for treatments 2, 3 and 4. (p <0.05) were used to determine the hematological, physiological, environmental and weight gain parameters of the animals, where it was observed that there was no significant effect on the zootechnical and physiological parameters. On the hemogram only the CHCM variable had a significant effect (p <0.05). It was concluded that there was no effect of the aqueous extract of garlic as a zootechnical additive in pigs during the nursery phase.
