RESSONÂNCIAS DE UM PASSADO PRÓXIMO: Teresina, a cidade do #Contraoaumento e os movimentos sociais em rede

Abstract

RESUMO: A presente pesquisa objetiva analisar os protestos que ficaram conhecidos como #Contraoaumento, que aconteceram em Teresina nos anos de 2011 e 2012. Historicamente, manifestações de rua foram elencadas na História como ápice de acontecimentos outros, não guardando na sua feitura uma importância maior. Porém, no início do século XXI, um novo ciclo de lutas globais chamoua atenção ao propor novas formas de organizações e ações populares, estabelecendo distintos contrapoderes; movimentos que foram da África à Europa, e da Ásia à América do Norte; derrubaram governos e contestaram seus regimes devida, estabelecendo verdadeiras redes globais de contestação social. Em Teresina, capital do Piauí, milhares de jovens marcharam pelas ruas depois que a prefeitura municipal anunciou o aumentoda tarifa de ônibus, causando um intenso sentimento de indignação na sua população local. Usando o espaço virtual dasnovas mídias de comunicação social, esses jovens não só organizaram-se num novo espaço, mas também empreenderam suas próprias narrativas a respeito dos protestos, conseguindo estabelecer uma disputa de discursos com o establishmentda mídia local. Partimos, portanto, de um duplo movimento analítico, primeiramente buscamos analisar o contexto urbano da cidade e de seu sistema de transportes coletivos, uma vez que o aumento da tarifa foi o motivo principal dos protestos. E em segundo buscamos analisar a própria feitura do #Contraoaumento enquanto acontecimento político social e cultural de uma sociedade que se professa cada vez mais global, discutindo as principais ações, tensões e estratégias utilizadas pelos manifestantes. Nesse caminho dialogamos com variadas áreas de conhecimento, elencando as discussões de Manuel Castells (2016; 2017), Antonio Negri e Michael Hardt (2014; 2015), sobre a sociedade pós-fordista, e deOtília Beatriz Fiori Arantes (2013),Antonia Jesuíta de Lima (1996), Ermínia Maricato (2013),sobre consumo e produção do espaço urbano, e Alessandro Portelli (2006), sobre a metodologia da História oral, como de suma importância na constituição da problemática. Além da discussão bibliográfica, elencamos uma série de fontes como documentos oficiais, banco de dados particulares, jornais impressos e eletrônicos, imagens, entrevistas de história oral, além das redes sociais como o Twittere Facebook. ABSTRACT: This research aims to analyze the protests known as #Contraoaumento that happened in the city of Teresina between the years of 2011 and 2012. Historically demonstrations were considered inside the History as the irrelevant peak of an another event, and as such, a element of little importance. However in the beginning of the Twentieth-First century a new cycle of international’s social struggles called the attention to a new form of protest association, establishing different countervailing powers; movementshappened in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America; some of them disrupted governs and formed a global network of social contestation. In Teresina, capital of the State of Piauí, thousands of young people occupied the streets after the City Council increased the bus fare, causing general indignation in the population. Using new ways of communication (social media), the youth not just created a new space, but also engaged their own narrative about the protests, being able to inaugurate a contestation of thetraditional local media. We set out our research from a double analytic movement; first we tried to examine the city's urban context and their collective transport system, since that bus fare was the main purpose of the protests. After that we tried to analyze the #Contraoaumento in itself, while a political event and also as a cultural occurrence that was happening in different parts of the world. As a way of achieve our objectives we had to dialogue with plentiful different areas of the knowledge, getting influences from Manuel Castells (2016; 2017), Antonio Negri, Michael Hardt (2014; 2015), Otília Beatriz Fiori Arantes (2013), Antonia Jesuíta de Lima (1996), Ermínia Maricato (2013) e Alessandro Portelli (2006). Apart from the bibliographic discussion, we pointed out a great number of primary sources such as official documents, personal databases, printed and digital newspapers, images, interviews through oral history and the main Social Medias (Twitter and Facebook).
