PERCEPÇÃO DE CONFLITOS SOCIOAMBIENTAIS: um estudo sobre pescadores artesanais na Comunidade Pedra do Sal (PI)

Abstract

RESUMO: Esta pesquisa tem o interesse principal de identificar conflitos socioambientais vividos por pescadores artesanais na Comunidade Pedra do Sal (PI), de acordo com a percepção dos próprios pescadores. As análises permeiam a observação da conexão que essa comunidade tem com o mar como fonte de subsistência e reprodução social, e a reflexividade que eles têm de situações que oferecem risco a sua sobrevivência. Os moradores da Comunidade Pedra do Sal enfrentam muitas intervenções em seu território, de uma forma geral, historicamente, essas intervenções são percebidas ao longo de todo o litoral brasileiro. Com isso, a pesquisa foi norteada pela seguinte indagação: Na percepção desses pescadores, quais os conflitos socioambientais que interferem no seu modo de vida, através da produção e reprodução das relações com: o mar, a terra, o trabalho, a família, as crenças e a sua sociabilidade intra e interlocal? O objetivo geral da pesquisa é analisar a percepção dos pescadores artesanais da Pedra do Sal sobre os conflitos socioambientais que interferem na produção e reprodução do seu modo de vida. E tem como objetivos específicos: - Levantar informações para caracterizar o perfil da pesca artesanal da Comunidade Pedra do Sal; - Identificar conflitos que se relacionam com seu modo de vida através das categorias: terra, mar, sociabilidade familiar, trabalho e relação com a comunidade, na perspectiva dos próprios pescadores; - Analisar como os pescadores artesanais percebem os riscos que incidem sobre a sociabilidade familiar, trabalho e comunidade. Para a construção deste trabalho utilizou-se como metodologia a etnografia do conflito socioambiental proposta por Little, buscou-se utilizar ao máximo a postura da Etnopesquisa, esta me permitiu capturar observações importantes da reflexividade dos pescadores sobre conflitos socioambientais, revelando o próprio poder desses atores de refletir sobre os riscos significativos que essa problemática aponta ao seu modo de vida. Para subsidiar as análises, foi necessária a realização de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, para a coleta de dados foi utilizado um questionário com lista de perguntas que subsidiaram na realização de entrevista semiestruturada. Para o tratamento dos dados, utilizou-se a técnica da análise de conteúdo. Assim como o proposto por Little, o trabalho finaliza analisando as variadas táticas e estratégias utilizadas pela comunidade e as distintas tentativas de resolução desses conflitos. Com essa pesquisa, percebeu-se nos pescadores da Comunidade Pedra do Sal a necessidade de procurar informações devido a sua questão fundiária, que de acordo com a pesquisa, esse é o principal conflito hoje vivido pelos moradores desta comunidade, fator que contribuiu expressivamente para a forma de reflexividade que hoje possuem sobre todos os riscos e conflitos socioambientais que os rodeiam. ABSTRACT: This research has the main interest of identifying socioenvironmental conflicts experienced by artisanal fishers in the Pedra do Sal Community (PI), according to the fishers' own perception. The analyzes permeate the observation of the connection that this community has with the sea as a source of subsistence and social reproduction, and the reflexivity they have of situations that threaten their survival. The residents of Pedra do Sal face many interventions in their territory, in general, historically, these interventions are perceived along the entire Brazilian coast. Thus, the research was guided by the following question: In the perception of these fishers, what are the socioenvironmental conflicts that interfere with their way of life, through the production and reproduction of relationships with: the sea, land, work, family, beliefs and their intra and interlocal sociability? The general objective of the research is to analyze the perception of artisanal fishers of Pedra do Sal on the socioenvironmental conflicts that interfere in the production and reproduction of their way of life. Its specific objectives are: - To gather information to characterize the artisanal fishing profile of the Pedra do Sal Community; - Identify conflicts related to their way of life through the categories: land, sea, family sociability, work and relationship with the community, according to the perspective of the fishers themselves; - Analyze how artisanal fishers perceive the risks that affect family sociability, work and community. For the construction of this work it was used as methodology the ethnography of the socioenvironmental conflict proposed by Litte, it was used a qualitative approach and it was tried to make the best use of the posture of Ethnological Research which allowed to capture important observations of the fishermen's reflexivity on socioenvironmental conflicts, revealing the very power of these actors to reflect on the significant risks that this problem points to their way of life. To support the analysis, it was necessary to carry out bibliographical and documentary research, a questionnaire was used to collect data for a semi-structured interview, and for the data treatment, the content analysis techniques were used. Like the one proposed by Little, the work ends by analyzing the varied tactics and strategies used by the community and the different attempts to solve these conflicts. With this research it was noticed that the fishers of the Pedra do Sal Community felt the need to look for information due to their land issue, according to the research, this is the main conflict today lived by the residents of this community, this factor contributed expressively to the way of reflexivity that they have today on all the risks and socialenvironmental conflicts that surround them.
