Abstract:
RESUMO: O objetivo deste trabalho é estudar os modelos físicos que descrevem o movimento de fluidos não-newtonianos a partir de hipóteses sobre a relação entre o tensor de tensões de desvio e o tensor de deformações linearizado do fluido. Em particular, demonstra-se, por meio do método de Lions-Faedo-Galerkin, existência e unicidade de solução fraca para os sistemas de equações de movimento moderado de fluidos viscoelásticos descritos pelos modelos de Maxwell e de Kelvin-Voigt. Neste último, obtém-se também regularidade da solução através de uma formulação variacional do problema de Stokes. ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is to study the physical models that describe the motion of non-newtonian fluids from assumptions concerning the relation between stress deviator tensor and the linear strain tensor of the fluid. In particular, it is established, by means of Lions-Faedo-Galerkin method, existence and uniqueness of weak solution to the systems of equations on moderated motion of viscoelastics fluids described by Maxwell's model and Kelvin-Voigt's model. In this last one, it is also obtained regularity to the solution, by means of a variacional aproach of Stokes' problem.
