EDUCAÇÃO E AÇÃO CULTURAL: Memorial da Balaiada, Caxias - Maranhão

Abstract

RESUMO: Neste trabalho, apresentamos os resultados da Pesquisa-Ação desenvolvida no âmbito do Programa de Pósgraduação em Artes, Patrimônio e Museologia, Mestrado Profissional, da Universidade Federal do Piauí, Meio Norte do Brasil. Trata-se de estudos e intervenção nas ações educativas, nomeadamente, Educação e Ação Cultural no Memorial da Balaiada em Caxias no Maranhão. O produto deste trabalho é um Catálogo de Educação e Ação Cultural para o Memorial, instrumento didático-pedagógico, a ser aplicado com alunos e professores da escola básica do município de Caxias – MA, com foco no patrimônio, na história e diversidade cultural. Um documento que apresenta contribuições para o estreitamento das relações entre escolas e Memorial, proporcionando reflexões, trocas de conhecimentos, e experiências salutares, ampliando a compreensão sobre educação patrimonial a partir de vivências no Memorial da Balaiada, contribuir com diálogos e partilha de múltiplos olhares sobre as histórias e memórias de suas gentes, que evidencie a construção de conhecimentos possibilitando a consciência coletiva entorno do patrimônio da cidade a partir do Memorial da Balaiada. O catálogo de Educação e Ação Cultural subsidiará professores e alunos, oferecendo ações artísticas e culturais associadas à Revolta da Balaiada no Maranhão, além de difundir as práticas educativas desenvolvidas no museu, através de atividades e/ou ações que fortaleçam a identidade cultural e patrimonial da cidade, de residentes, famílias e de alunos que visitam o espaço museológico. Destacamos as contribuições da arte nas atividades educativas do Memorial, apresentando-se de forma significativa como fator de inserção educacional, social e política, possibilitando a interação com a pluralidade cultural, com a construção de valores que preservam o patrimônio histórico-cultural do território. Ciente da responsabilidade em subsidiar o trabalho de educadores, propomos como instrumento didático-pedagógico um catálogo composto por peças do acervo do memorial, acompanhando de sugestões de atividades a serem desenvolvidas, com linguagem acessível e lúdica, que estimulando a curiosidade em conhecer o Museu Memorial da Balaiada. O material é um recurso de apoio didático que constrói uma relação entre exposição e o visitante, de forma a despertar nos residentes e público geral a responsabilidade em preservar os patrimônios de qualquer natureza. A pesquisa baseou-se na metodologia pesquisa-ação por intervir em algumas atividades desenvolvidas no lugar, pesquisa de campo, por compreender que as ações educativas foram o norte de interesse em pesquisar o Memorial da Balaiada e na fundamentação teórica, usamos para balizar as práticas vivenciadas no momento das visitas e mediações. Utilizamos Cândido (2013), Barbosa (2008), Brasil (2006), Gaioso et al. (2013, entre outros. Importante salientar, os resultados das observações e as mudanças acontecidas no período de Setembro a Dezembro de 2016. Os resultados finais do processo das atividades, revelaram valores significativos na perspectiva educativa, corroborando nas mediações e intervenção técnica e artística no desenvolvimento das atividades as quais o Memorial se propunha a realizar mediante suas ações educativas existentes, contribuindo no fortalecimento das propostas de compartilhamento de ideias, colaborando para uma nova dinâmica de aprendizagem em espaços museológicos. ABSTRACT: In this paper, it is presented the results of the Action Research developed in the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Arts, Heritage and Museology, Professional Master’s, of the Federal University of Piauí, Mid-North of Brazil. These are studies and intervention in educational actions, namely Education and Cultural Action at the Balaiada Memorial in Caxias, Maranhão. As a result it was produced a Catalog of Cultural Education and Action for the Memorial, a teaching and pedagogical instrument to be applied with students and teachers from basic education schools in Caxias, MA, focusing on heritage, history and cultural diversity. A document that contributes to the closer relationship between the schools and the Memorial, providing reflections, exchanges of knowledge, and salutary experiences, broadening the understanding of heritage education from experiences at the Balaiada Memorial, contributing with dialogues and sharing multiple perspectives on the stories and memories of its people, which evidences the construction of knowledge enabling the collective consciousness surrounding the patrimony of the city from the Balaiada Memorial. The Education and Cultural Action catalog will subsidize teachers and students, offering artistic and cultural actions associated with the Balaiada Revolt in Maranhão, as well as disseminating the educational practices developed in the museum, through activities and actions that strengthen the cultural and patrimonial identity of the city, residents, families and students visiting the museum. We highlight the contributions of art in the educational activities of the Memorial, presenting itself in a significant way as a factor of educational, social and political insertion, enabling interaction with cultural plurality, with the construction of values that preserve the historical-cultural patrimony of the territory. Aware of the responsibility to subsidize the work of educators, it is proposed as a didactic-pedagogical tool a catalog composed of pieces from the collection of the memorial, with suggestions of activities to be developed, with accessible and playful language, that stimulates curiosity in knowing the Balaiada Memorial Museum. The material is a resource of didactic support that builds a relationship between exposure and the visitor, in order to awaken in the residents and general public the responsibility in preserving the patrimony of any nature. The research was based on the methodology research-action for intervening in some activities developed in the place, field research, for acknowledging that the educational actions were the core of interest in researching the Balaiada Memorial and in the theoretical basis, we used to mark the practices experiences of visits and mediations. We used Cândido (2014), Barbosa (2008), Brazil (2006), Gaioso et al (2013), among others. It is important to highlight the results of the observations and the changes that occurred in the period from September to December 2016. The final results of the activities process revealed significant values in the educational perspective, corroborating in the mediations and technical and artistic intervention in the development of the activities in which the Memorial proposed to carry out through its existing educational actions, contributing in the strengthening of ideas-sharing proposals, collaborating to a new learning dynamics in museological spaces.
