ITINERÁRIOS NO CUIDADO À SAÚDE DE MULHERES COM CÂNCER DE MAMA E SUAS EXPRESSÕES

Abstract

RESUMO: As estatísticas sobre o câncer de mama são significativas. Com aproximadamente 2 milhões de novos casos por ano no mundo, é responsável por meio milhão de óbitos todos os anos, e representa um grande desafio para a saúde pública. Na escolha de um caminho em busca de solução para a doença, os pacientes traçam alternativas diferenciadas. Diante disso, o objetivo do estudo foi compreender a experiência de cuidado à saúde de mulheres com câncer de mama na cidade de Parnaíba – Piauí. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, realizada com sete mulheres, recrutadas na Clínica João Silva Filho, onde funciona a Unidade de Assistência de Alta Complexidade em Oncologia - UNACON da cidade de Parnaíba. Os critérios de inclusão envolveram: ser mulher, maior de 18 anos, cadastrada na clínica para tratamento e que assinassem o TCLE. O instrumento para a produção dos dados foi a entrevista não diretiva e para a realização da análise dos dados foi utilizada a técnica de análise de conteúdo de Bardin. As informações foram agrupadas em quatro categorias temáticas: 1) Percepção sobre saúde, doença e cuidado; 2) Ser mulher com câncer de mama; 3) O itinerário de mulheres com câncer e a construção da rede de cuidados e saúde; 4) Sentidos atribuídos ao câncer. O itinerário não é linear e não segue a formalização prevista pelo Ministério da Saúde, pois as escolhas das mulheres são circunstanciais, constroem-se a partir das necessidades dos sujeitos e das potencialidades do território. ABSTRACT: Statistics on breast cancer are significant. With approximately 2 million new cases per year worldwide, it accounts for half a million deaths each year, and poses a major public health challenge. In choosing a pathway in search of a solution to the disease, patients draw differentiated alternatives. Therefore, the objective of the study was to understand the health care experience of women with breast cancer in the city of Parnaíba – Piauí. This is a qualitative research carried out with seven women, recruited at the João Silva Filho Clinic, where the High Complexity in Oncology Unit - UNACON of the city of Parnaíba. The inclusion criteria involved: being a woman, over 18 years of age, registered in the clinic for treatment and who signed the TCLE. The instrument for the production of the data was the non-directive interview and for the analysis of the data, the Bardin content analysis technique was used. The information was grouped into four thematic categories: 1) Perception about health, illness and care; 2) Being a woman with breast cancer; 3) The itinerary of women with cancer and the construction of the health and care network; E 4) Sense attributed to cancer. The itinerary is not linear and does not follow the formalization provided by the Ministry of Health, since the choices of women are circumstantial, are built based on the needs of the subjects and the potentialities of the territory.
