MUSEU DO VAQUEIRO | ALTO LONGÁ | PIAUÍ: Diagnóstico e Documentação Museológica e Propostas de expografia, educação e ação Cultural: pesquisa, inventário e documentário sobre Reisado.

Abstract

RESUMO: Este trabalho é resultado de Projeto-Ação, realizado no Museu do Vaqueiro, localizado no município de Alto Longá no Estado do Piauí. Os estudos e intervenções materializaram-se em diagnóstico e documentação museológica e propostas de expografia, educação e ação cultural, o que incluiu um inventário da Celebração do Reisado, um documentário etnográfico e uma exposição de curta duração associados à Celebração no Museu. A exposição sobre o Reisado e as atividades de educação e ação cultural estiveram associadas diretamente à concepção, montagem e mediação da exposição que nomeamos “Reis e Caretas”. A intervenção direta no Museu foi um meio de dar vida ao equipamento e devolver a pesquisa-ação para a comunidade, interagir com diversos públicos e permitir a visibilidade do Museu para que cumpra a sua função social, tornando-o um lugar privilegiado de fomento à educação, cidadania e cultura, de maneira agradável, informal e lúdica. O projeto expográfico contempla a história da cidade a partir do personagem do vaqueiro, homem religioso e devoto. O centro da narrativa da nova exposição é o Reisado, celebração emblemática para os habitantes da cidade. No desenho da Exposição Reis e Caretas usamos objetos e fotografias identificados e recolhidos ao longo do inventário e um documentário etnográfico de 10 minutos sobre a Celebração. A Exposição é uma ferramenta de interpretação do patrimônio, possibilita a afirmação do reconhecimento, valorização e salvaguarda do patrimônio cultural imaterial, associado às práticas histórico - religiosas do vaqueiro nordestino. O trabalho direto no Museu do Vaqueiro teve início com um Diagnóstico Museológico da Instituição, que contou com a participação da servidora e diretora do Museu, o que lhes permitiu compreender a importância e responsabilidade do planejamento e gestão de um equipamento cultural, suas potencialidades, fragilidades, ameaças e oportunidades: No segundo momento, realizamos a construção da documentação museológica do acervo, que contribui, hoje, para a identificação técnica dos objetos sob a guarda do Museu. Contamos com a colaboração da direção da Fundação de Cultura, Assistência Social e Sustentabilidade (FUNCASA), que gere o Museu do Vaqueiro. As origens desta investigação está no Inventário do Patrimônio Imaterial da Celebração do Reisado que realizamos entre 2010 a 2016, com o uso de métodos e técnicas como a Etnografia, a História Oral e o Técnicas de Inventário propostas pelo Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional - IPHAN). O Inventário permitiu coletar, registrar e interpretar a Celebração; constituir um acervo com depoimentos registrados em áudio, vídeo, fotografias e objetos associados à Celebração, que nos serviram para criar o conceito da Exposição “Reisado e Caretas”. Portanto, Diagnóstico e Documentação Museológica e Projeto Expográfico para o Museu do Vaqueiro; Inventário da Celebração do Reisado, Documentário Etnográfico, Exposição Reis e Caretas e Educação e Ação Cultural são produtos e serviços que apresentamos como Trabalho Final do Mestrado em Artes, Patrimônio e Museologia da Universidade Federal do Piauí, uma contribuição para a revitalização do Museu do Vaqueiro. ABSTRACT: This paper is the result of an Action Project held at the Cowboy Museum, located in Alto Longá, Piauí, Brazil. The studies and interventions materialized in a museological diagnosis and documentation, and proposals of expography, education and cultural action, which included an inventory of the Reisado Celebration, an ethnographic documentary and a short exhibition associated to the Celebration in the Museum. The exhibition on Reisado and the activities of education and cultural action were directly associated with the design, assembly and mediation of the exhibition that we named “Kings and Faces”. The direct intervention in the Museum was a way of giving life to the equipment and returning the action-research to the community, interacting with several publics and allowing the Museum’s visibility to fulfill its social function, making it a privileged place to promote education, citizenship and culture in a pleasant, informal and playful way. The exposition project contemplates the history of the city from the character of the cowboy, religious and devout man. The center of the narrative of the new exhibition is Reisado, an emblematic celebration for the inhabitants of the city. In the designing of the Kings and Faces Exhibition we used objects and photographs identified and collected throughout the inventory and a 10-minute ethnographic documentary about the Celebration. The exhibition is a tool for interpreting heritage, it enables one to affirm the recognition, valorization and safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage, associated with the historical - religious practices of the northeast cowboy. The direct work in the Cowboy Museum began with a museum diagnostic of the institution, which counted with the participation of the museum servant and director, allowing them to understand the importance and responsibility for planning and managing a cultural equipment, its potentialities, fragilities, threats and opportunities. The next step was the construction of a museological documentation of the collection, which now contributes to the technical identification of the objects under the protection of the museum. We had the collaboration of the director of the Foundation for Culture, Social Assistance and Sustainability (FUNCASA), which manages the Cowboy Museum. The origins of this investigation are in the Inventory of Intangible Heritage of the Reisado Celebration, conducted between 2010 and 2016, in which were used methods and techniques such as Ethnography, Oral History and Inventory Techniques proposed by the Brazilian National Historic and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN). The inventory made it possible to collect, register and interpret the Celebration; to constitute a collection with testimonies recorded in audio, video, photographs and objects associated with the Celebration, which served to create the concept of the Exhibition “Kings and Faces”. Therefore, Museum Diagnostics and Documentation, Exposition Project for the Cowboy Museum; Inventory of Reisado Celebration, Ethnographic Documentary, Exhibition Kings and Masks and Education and Cultural Action are products and services presented as the final work of the Master in Arts, Heritage and Museology of the Federal University of Piauí, a contribution to the revitalization of the Cowboy Museum.
