VIOLÊNCIA-RESISTÊNCIA EM “DUZU-QUERENÇA” E “ANA DAVENGA”, DE CONCEIÇÃO EVARISTO

Abstract

RESUMO: A violência e a resistência dos/as sujeitos/as negros/as podem ser observadas como concepções basilares em suas próprias historicidades, pois muitos/as desses/as vivenciaram o período escravista. Pela persistência dessas práticas, há uma necessidade de lutarem em busca de visibilidade e contra as opressões interseccionais, que os/as colocam, muita das vezes, em condições de subalternidade. A presente pesquisa possui como corpus os contos “Duzu-Querença” e “Ana Davenga”, de Conceição Evaristo. Busca-se, desta forma, examinar por meio de teorias relacionadas a críticas feministas, principalmente ao feminismo negro, diferentes violências e resistências, que estão presentes no cotidiano de personagens femininas das narrativas “Duzu-Querença” e “Ana Davenga”. Para alcançar o objetivo citado, foram construídos três objetivos específicos: a) Discutir sobre teorias feministas e suas contribuições na luta e na resistência das mulheres negras, sua (in) visibilidade como sujeitas, além da importância desses movimentos para que elas reivindiquem seus direitos, principalmente, por meio do texto literário; b) Verificar a problematização do corpo feminino negro diante de violências adversas, tais como o estupro, a exploração sexual e o genocídio em “Duzu-Querença” e “Ana Davenga”, de Conceição Evaristo; c) Observar atos de resistência do homem negro e da mulher negra por meio da busca pela fantasia e pelo conhecimento, além de sua afirmação como sujeito/a negro/a através do amor em “Duzu-Querença” e “Ana Davenga”, de Conceição Evaristo. Duzu e Ana são mulheres negras que habitam as margens da sociedade, não são assistidas de saúde, de educação e de segurança. São personagens que representam parte da população brasileira, aquela que é vítima de violência em suas casas, no trabalho, nas ruas e pelas instituições, que deveriam protegê-las. Mulheres que resistem ao desconstruir estereótipos, romper com o silêncio e reivindicar os seus direitos. Esta pesquisa é de caráter bibliográfico, pois para a análise do corpus foram utilizadas teóricas como: Carneiro (2001; 2003); Nascimento (2006); Bairros (2008); Chauí (2017; 1985; 1999), Lugones (2014; 2008; 2005), dentre outros/as. No entanto, violência-resistência faz parte da dinâmica social de uma população que ao questionar e lutar por melhores condições está rompendo com os paradigmas da subalternização. ABSTRACT: The violence and resistance of black subjects can be observed as basic concepts in their own historicities, since many of them experienced the slave period. For the persistence of these practices, there is a need to fight for visibility and against intersectional oppression, which very often put them in subaltern conditions. The present research study has as corpus the tales "Duzu-Querença" and "Ana Davenga", written by Conceição Evaristo. In this sense, it is sought to examine through the theories related to the feminist literary criticism, especially to the black feminism, the different violences and resistances that are present in the daily life of the female characters in the narratives "Duzu-Querença" and "Ana Davenga". In an effort to achieve this goal, three specific objectives were constructed: a) To discuss feminist theories and their contributions in the struggle and resistance of black women, their (in) visibility as subjects, and the importance of these movements for them to claim their rights, mainly, through the literary text; b) To verify the problematization of the black female body in the face of adverse violence, such as rape, sexual exploitation and genocide in "Duzu-Querença" and "Ana Davenga", by Conceição Evaristo; c) Observe acts of resistance of the black man and the black woman through the search for fantasy and knowledge, as well as his affirmation as a black individual through love in "Duzu-Querença" and "Ana Davenga", by Conceição Evaristo. Duzu and Ana are black women who inhabit the margins of society; they do not have access to health, education and security services. They are characters who represent part of the Brazilian population, the one who is victim of the violence in their homes, at work, in the streets and of the institutions, which should protect them. Women who resist deconstructing stereotypes, breaking the silence and claiming for their rights. This work is a bibliographical research study because for the analysis of the corpus were used authors such as Carneiro (2001; 2003); Nascimento (2006); Bairros (2008); Chauí (2017; 1985; 1999), Lugones (2014; 2008; 2005), among others. However, the violence-resistance is part of the social dynamics of a population that, when questioning and fighting for better conditions, is breaking with the paradigms of the subalternization.
