GÊNESE DE SOLOS EM CERRADO DE CLIMA TROPICAL COM ESTAÇÃO SECA DE INVERNO

Abstract

RESUMO: Estudos de caracterização de solos em regiões ainda pouco exploradas, além de disponibilizarem e ampliarem a base de informações sobre as mais distintas ordens de solos do território nacional, também permitem sistematizar informações sobre suas propriedades, que poderão servir de subsídio para o desenvolvimento de práticas de manejo e uso sustentável das terras. O objetivo deste trabalho foi caracterizar atributos morfológicos, físicos, químicos e mineralógicos de solos formados em Cerrado de clima tropical com (estação seca de inverno). Utilizaram-se cinco perfis localizados na microrregião do Alto médio Gurguéia, sudoeste do Estado do Piauí. Os perfis foram numerados de P1 a P5 seguindo a seguinte ordem: NEOSSOLO FLÚVICO (RY), LATOSSOLO AMARELO (LA), NEOSSOLO LITÓLICO (RL), NEOSSOLO QUARTZARÊNICO (RQ) e ARGISSOLO VERMELHO (PV). Os perfis foram submetidos à descrição morfológica e a amostragem em seus horizontes. Foram feitas as caracterizações físicas, químicas e mineralógicas. Os perfis amostrados apresentaram características compatíveis com as observações descritas no sistema brasileiro de classificação de solos. Os solos dessa região apresentaram-se com elevados teores de areia e com pH ácido e baixa saturação por bases (V), que é reflexo direto da influência do arenito material de maior expressão na formação destes solos. Com os difratogramas da argila foi possível observar a presença de caulinita, goethita, hematita, quartzo, muscovita, ilita, rutilo, anatásio, vermiculita. Conclui-se que é possível traçar um padrão entre os solos dessa região que é, principalmente, em resposta ao elevado teor de areia e a maior ocorrência de minerais 2:1. ABSTRACT: Soil characterization studies in regions that are still little explored, besides making available and expanding the information base on the most diverse orders of soils of the national territory, also allow to systematize information about their properties, that can serve as subsidy for the development of management and sustainable use of land. The objective of this work was to characterize the morphological, physical, chemical and mineralogical attributes of soils formed in Cerrado of tropical climate with (dry winter season). Five profiles were located in the micro-region of Upper Gurguéia, southwest of the State of Piauí. The profiles were numbered from P1 to P5 in the following order: FLUVISOLS, FERRALSOLS, LEPTOSOLS, ARENOSOLS and ACRISOLS. The profiles were submitted to morphological description and sampling in their horizons. Physical, chemical and mineralogical characterizations were made. The profiles were compatible with the observations described in the Brazilian soil classification system. The soils of this region presented high levels of sand and acidic pH and low saturation by bases (V), which is a direct reflection of the influence of the sandstone of higher expression in the formation of these soils. With the clay diffractograms it was possible to observe the presence of kaolinite, goethite, hematite, quartz, muscovite, ilite, rutile, anatase, vermiculite. It is concluded that it is possible to draw a pattern between the soils of this region which is mainly in response to the high sand content and the higher occurrence of 2: 1 minerals.
