“EM BUSCA DE CAMPEÕES”: Preparatório para a OBMEP no Município de Alto Longá

Abstract

RESUMO: Neste trabalho, contamos a história de Alto Longá com ênfase no Ideb, Índice de Desenvolvimento na Educação Básica, fazendo um comparativo entre as escolas estaduais e municipais deste município. A idéia principal foi fazer um preparatório para os alunos dessas escolas, com o intuito de prepará-los para a participação da OBMEP, pois inicialmente, esses alunos além de não conhecerem o programa eles não tinham incentivo e nem vontade de participar. Verificamos que todo o esforço empregado deu resultados positivos: aumentou o número de alunos participantes e também o úmero de premiações para estes. Ressaltamos ainda, que este trabalho possibilitou aos alunos o conhecimento das inter-relações dos diversos campos da Matemática e com isso o desempenho na disciplina melhorou consideravelmente, aumentando a nota do Ideb. ABSTRACT: In this work we tell the story of Alto Long´a with emphasis on Ideb (Index of Development in Basic Education), making a comparison between the state and municipal schools of this municipality. The main idea was to prepare these students of these schools in order to prepare them for OBMEP participation, because initially these students, besides not knowing the program, had no incentive or willingness to participate. We verified that all the efforts employed gave positive results: the number of students participating increased and also the awards for them. We can still emphasize that this work enabled the students to know the interrelationships among the different fields of Mathematics and thereby the performance in the discipline improved considerably, even increasing Ideb grade.
