DOCUMENTAÇÃO MUSEOLÓGICA: Inventário do acervo do Museu do Trem do Piauí.

Abstract

RESUMO: O Museu do Trem do Piauí foi criado com a missão de preservar a memória do período de desenvolvimento da ferrovia no litoral do Piauí. A edificação que abriga seu acervo é parte do conjunto histórico e paisagístico da cidade de Parnaíba, tombado em nível federal pelo Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional – IPHAN. A instituição, localizada na Praça da Estação, guarda diversas peças da época de funcionamento da Estrada de Ferro Central do Piauí – EFCP, como: Aparelhos telefônicos, capacetes de operários, roupas, sinos de estação, taquígrafos, faróis de locomotivas, relógios de parede, fotos, documentos, móveis e outros objetos que são encontrados nas dependências do museu. O equipamento cultural foi instalado e inaugurado em 15 de agosto de 2002, tendo um complexo que inicia no pátio de manobra, onde se encontra a Locomotiva 29, até o prédio onde funcionava a estação de passageiros em Parnaíba. Porém, como essa instituição não atende a diversas recomendações do Instituto Brasileiro de Museus - IBRAM e normas da lei 11904/2009 (Estatuto de Museus) relacionadas à criação de museus, este trabalho proporciona a realização de um inventário de todo o acervo do museu, com a catalogação de suas peças, marcação de numeração nas mesmas, bem como a criação de fichas individuais de catalogação de cada uma, e ainda, a elaboração de uma cartilha com orientações para a documentação nos museus, para que, futuramente, a instituição possa ser cadastrada no IBRAM, podendo gozar de todos os direitos de um museu assim registrado. -------------------------- ABSTRACT: The Piauí Train Museum was created with the mission of preserving the memory of the railway development period on the coast of Piauí. The building that houses its collection is part of the historic and scenic set of the city of Parnaíba, registered at the federal level by the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN). The institution, located in the Station Square, keeps several pieces from the time of operation of the Central Railway of Piauí - EFCP, such as: Telephone equipment, workers' helmets, clothes, station bells, stenographers, locomotive lights, wall clocks, Photos, documents, furniture and other objects that are found on the premises of the museum. The cultural equipment was installed and inaugurated on August 15, 2002, having a complex that starts in the maneuvering yard, where is Locomotive 29, to the building where the passenger station in Parnaíba operated. However, since this institution does not comply with several recommendations of the Brazilian Institute of Museums (IBRAM) and the rules of law 11904/2009 (Statute of Museums) related to the creation of museums, this work provides an inventory of the entire collection of the museum, With the cataloging of their pieces, marking of numbering in them, as well as the creation of individual cataloging sheets for each one, and also the preparation of a booklet with documentation guidelines in museums, so that in the future the institution can Be registered in IBRAM, and may enjoy all the rights of a museum so registered.
