O SABER-FAZER DA TECELAGEM MANUAL DAS REDES DE DORMIR DE PEDRO II-PI: uma proposta de Inventário Participativo – TeMa.

Abstract

RESUMO: O município de Pedro II, localizado no nordeste do Piauí, Brasil, agrega em seu território um rico e complexo patrimônio cultural e natural, com destaque para os modos de saber-fazer associados à tecelagem manual - objeto de estudo desta pesquisa-ação. Trata-se de um trabalho de pesquisa aplicada para construção de produtos/serviço: um Inventário Participativo (IP), acompanhado de um Glossário Especializado das expressões orais e um Mapa Cultural da Tecelagem Manual das Redes de Dormir de Pedro II. Procuramos compreender os modos de saber-fazer da tecelagem manual (TeMa); as características do saber-fazer; como ocorrem os processos de transmissão e que artefatos/instrumentos estão ligados a essa sabedoria ancestral no território. O inventário instiga formas de divulgação, valorização e revitalização do saber. O ofício das teceloas – como se autodenominam as mulheres protagonistas da tecelagem em teares manuais – está presente a mais de um século na história do município. Todavia, essa prática cultural vem enfrentando desafios que comprometem a sua permanência, como a baixa visibilidade das mestras teceloas, a quase interrupção na transmissão do saber e a competitividade comercial com produtos da tecelagem industrial vinda de outros Estados. Constatando-se a ausência de dados analíticos sobre a situação atual da referência cultural, o presente estudo propôs uma intervenção para conhecer a tecelagem manual no contexto social local, através de um instrumental metodológico que viabilizasse o empoderamento das detentoras e intérpretes dos modos de saber-fazer associados à tecelagem manual da rede de dormir característica de Pedro II-PI..................ABSTRACT: The municipality of Pedro II, located in the northeast of Piauí, Brazil, has in its territory a rich and complex cultural and natural patrimony, with emphasis on the know-how associated with manual weaving - object of study of this action research. This is an applied research work for the construction of products / services: a Participatory Inventory (PI), accompanied by a Specialized Glossary of oral expressions and a Cultural Map of the Manual Weaving of Sleeping Hammock from Pedro II city. We try to understand the ways of know-how of manual weaving (TeMa); The characteristics of know-how; How the processes of transmission occur and what artifacts | instruments are linked to this ancestral wisdom in the territory. The inventory instigates ways of disseminating, valuing and revitalizing of knowledge. The craft of the weavers - as they call themselves the women protagonists of weaving in manual looms - has been present for more than a century in the history of the municipality. However, this cultural practice is facing challenges that jeopardize its permanence, such as the low visibility of teceleas masters, the almost interruption in the transmission of knowledge and the commercial competitiveness with industrial weaving products from other states. Based on the lack of analytical data on the current situation of the cultural reference, the present study proposed an intervention to know the manual weaving in the local social context, through a methodological tool that enabled the empowerment of the holders and interpreters of the know- Make associated with the manual weaving of the sleeping hammock feature of Pedro II city (PI).
