AS REPRESENTAÇÕES SOCIAIS SOBRE O ENSINO DE SOCIOLOGIA E A FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE: um estudo acerca do Pibid de Sociologia da UFPI.

Abstract

RESUMO A pesquisa aborda a descrição das representações sociais acerca do ensino de Sociologia, da formação docente e da iniciação à docência na educação básica dos licenciandos do curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Sociais que atuam como bolsistas da área de Sociologia no Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência – PIBID da Universidade Federal do Piauí – UFPI. O intuito desta pesquisa consiste em demonstrar os conhecimentos elaborados pelos licenciandos bolsistas do curso de Ciências Sociais sobre o ensino de Sociologia nas escolas; apresentar as principais concepções sobre a formação dos professores de Sociologia que compõem as representações dos licenciandos bolsistas do curso de Ciências Sociais e identificar os discursos dos bolsistas do PIBID de Sociologia da UFPI sobre as contribuições do programa para suas formações docentes. No decorrer do estudo foram demonstradas as discussões sobre a institucionalização do ensino e de cursos voltados para a formação docente desenvolvidas no século XX e início do século XXI, bem como sobre o surgimento da Sociologia no país e sua importância como disciplina componente dos currículos escolares. Por meio da problematização dessas temáticas, viu-se que os dados obtidos perpassam pela compreensão do histórico dessas temáticas e fazem-se presentes no âmbito de suas formações. A fundamentação do estudo possui teor quali-quantitativo e está pautada na teoria das representações sociais elaborada por Serge Moscovici. Os dados foram coletados por meio de questionário sócio-demográfico, aplicação de Teste de Associação Livre de Palavras – TALP e questionário com perguntas abertas direcionadas sobre o ensino de Sociologia e a formação docente, sendo aplicados com vinte bolsistas em março de 2016. Através da análise dos dados foi possível compreender e refletir sobre a importância do PIBID na resignificação da formação inicial docente. Para os participantes, o programa mostra-se de grande relevância no processo de formação dos licenciandos por contribuir no processo de aperfeiçoamento e reflexão sobre a prática docente. Os bolsistas veem no programa um espaço de inter-relação entre teoria e prática, por ainda perceberem uma orientação mais tecnicista no curso de licenciatura voltada para a formação específica de bacharéis, corroborando para a construção de metodologias a serem utilizadas nos espaços escolares, que visam à aproximação dos alunos aos conteúdos sociológicos abordados tanto em sala de aula, como nas relações sociais que os alunos possuem cotidianamente. Portanto, o estudo tem a importância de contribuir para a discussão sobre o ensino de Sociologia e a formação docente propiciada no âmbito do curso e do PIBID, bem como fomentar a problematização de temáticas relacionadas ao escopo da pesquisa................ABSTRACT: This research focuses on the description of social representations about the teaching of Sociology, teacher training and initiation to teaching in basic education of undergraduates in the Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences that act as fellows in Institutional Program to Scholarships for Initiation to Teaching – PIBID, on the Federal University of Piauí - UFPI. The purpose of this research is demonstrate the knowledge acquired by the Social Science students that have scholarship about the Sociology teaching at schools; show the main conceiving about the formation of the sociology teachers that compose the representations about Social Science students that have scholarship and identify the discourses about the contributions of the PIBID in their teaching formation. During the study was demonstrated the discussions on the institutionalization of teaching and courses focusing on teacher education developed in the twentieth century and early twenty-first century, as well as the emergence of sociology in the country and its importance as a component discipline of school curricula. Through questioning of these thematics, it was seen that the social representations elaborated by undergraduate scholarship recipients about the teacher education and sociology teaching pervade the understanding of the history of these thematics and make present in the ambit for their formations. The basis of this study is focused on the theory of social representations made by Serge Moscovici. Data were collected through socio-demographic questionnaire, Free word association test (FWAT) and questionnaire with open questions focused on sociology teaching and teacher training, applied in twenty scholarship recipients in March, 2016 Through data analysis was possible to understand and reflect on the importance of PIBID in initial teacher training resignification. For participants, the program shows to be of great importance in the formation process of undergraduates, to contribute in the improvement process and reflection on teaching practice. The scholarship recipients see in PIBID a space of interrelation between theory and practice, for still understand a more technicist orientation in the undergraduate program, focused on specific training of graduates, corroborating the construction of methodologies to be used in school spaces, aimed at bringing the students to the sociological content addressed, both in the classroom and in social relations that students have daily. Therefore, the study has importance of contributing to the discussion on the teaching and training of undergraduates in sociology in the Social Science course and at PIBID, as well to encourage the questioning related to the thematic scope of the search.
