CASA GRANDE DOS DIAS DA SILVA: estudos para reabilitação e implantação do Museu da Cidade de Parnaíba, Piauí

Abstract

RESUMO Neste documento apresenta-se o Trabalho Final de Mestrado sob o título “CASA GRANDE DOS DIAS DA SILVA: estudos para reabilitação e implantação do Museu da Cidade de Parnaíba, Piauí”, projeto associado ao Projeto Matriz sob o título “PARNAÍBA: PATRIMÔNIO VIVO, CIDADE VIVA”, coordenado pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Artes, Patrimônio e Museologia, PPGAPM, Mestrado Profissional, da Universidade Federal do Piauí, Campus Ministro Reis Veloso, na cidade de Parnaíba. O objetivo geral foi elaborar um projeto de reabilitação do imóvel “Casa Grande dos Dias da Silva”, para implantação a médio ou a longo prazo, do Museu da Cidade de Parnaíba, Piauí. Inicialmente foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre edificações históricas e estudos de casos de intervenções do tipo reabilitação de espaços em museus, com ênfase nos diálogos entre arquitetura e patrimônio. Posteriormente, foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo, que permitiu a imersão na cidade contato com a população residente, com objetivo de conhecer e divulgar o espaço da Casa Grande Simplício Dias, colher junto à população o uso que gostariam que fosse dado à antiga residência dos Dias da Silva. Os dados foram levantados a partir de três etapas: 1. Pesquisa de opinião, com uso da ferramenta do Google via on-line (Google Formulários); 2. Exposição Itinerante, com tema “Casa Grande dos Dias da Silva: Rendilhar o Passado, Construir o Futuro” com ênfase nos temas museu, patrimônio, preservação; momento no qual foi possível solicitar o posicionamento dos visitantes sobre o uso da Casa Grande; e 3. Roda de conversa sobre a Casa Grande dos Dias da Silva, para a qual foram convidados membros de entidades governamentais e não governamentais e cidadãos de Parnaíba para discutir o uso da Casa Grande e o projeto de Museu. Observaram-se opiniões diversas quanto ao uso da edificação, porém a que prevaleceu foi o desejo de que a mesma se transforme em um museu da cidade. Assim, a partir dos resultados observados, discussões realizadas e análise de campo, apresentaram-se sugestões práticas e objetivas para a reabilitação do espaço de forma a lhe oferecer uso social, levando em conta o fato de tratar-se de imóvel construído no século XVIII para habitação familiar. Como produto final de Mestrado foi elaborado o projeto de reabilitação, um espaço social e cultural, um equipamento museológico, que contempla uma recepção, café, salas de exposições de curta e longa duração, escritório colaborativo, sala multiuso (para serviços de educação e ação cultural, reuniões, palestras, rodas de conversa, oficinas etc.), um laboratório de conservação preventiva de bens móveis e uma reserva técnica. Dentro do que foi idealizado para o espaço estão exposições sobre a cidade de Parnaíba, com foco na história da própria edificação, e uma sala de exposição para o acervo de Humberto de Campos (1886-1934), que está em uma das salas da Casa Grande, sob a responsabilidade da Superintendência de Cultura do Município de Parnaíba. ABSTRACT In this document we present the Technical-Scientific Report under the title “CASA GRANDE DOS DIAS DA SILVA: studies for rehabilitation and implantation of the Museum of the City of Parnaíba, Mid-North of Brazil”, subproject associated to the Matrix Project under the title “PARNAÍBA: PATRIMÔNIO VIVO, CIDADE VIVA “, coordinated by the Postgraduate Program in Arts, Heritage and Museology (PPGAPM), Professional Master’s Degree, Federal University of Piauí, Campus Ministro Reis Veloso in the City of Parnaíba. Its main objective is to develop a project for the rehabilitation of the “Casa Grande dos Dias da Silva” property, for the medium or long term implantation of the City Museum of Parnaíba, Piauí. Initially, a diversified bibliographical research was carried out on historical buildings and case studies of rehabilitation interventions of museum spaces, with emphasis on the dialogues between architecture and museology. Subsequently, a field survey was carried out, which allowed the immersion in the city and contact with the resident population, with the purpose of knowing and divulging the space of the Casa Grande Simplício Dias and raising the opinion of the population about the knowledge and the use that they would like was given to the former residence of Dias da Silva. The data were collected from three stages: 1. Opinion survey using the Google tool via online (Google Forms), 2. Itinerant Exhibition with theme “Casa Grande dos Dias da Silva: Rendilhar o Past, Construir o Futuro” in which, subjects such as museum, heritage, preservation and opinion about the use of Casarão were approached with the society, and 3. Wheel of conversation about Casa Grande dos Dias da Silva, in which were invited, members of governmental entities and not governmental organizations and citizens of Parnaíba to discuss the use of the Casarão and Museum project. There were diverse opinions regarding the use of the Casa Grande, but the one that prevailed among the majority was the desire that it become a museum. Thus, from the observed results, discussions, and field analysis, practical and objective suggestions were presented for qualification and revitalization of the space in order to offer it social use, to consider that it is a property built in the eighteenth century for housing family. The final product was the rehabilitation project, which consists of a social and cultural space, which includes a reception, cafe, short and long term exhibition rooms, collaborative office, multipurpose room (for cultural education and action services, meetings , lectures, canning wheels, workshops, etc.), a preventive conservation laboratory for movable property and a technical reserve. Among what was conceived for the space are exhibitions on the city of Parnaíba from the history of the building itself, and a showroom is also proposed for Humberto de Campos (1886-1934), since his collection is now in the mansion , and under the responsibility of the Superintendence of Culture of the Municipality of Parnaíba.
