ALVES, Marivete Ribeiro
e cultural, vital, universal, multifatorial. O segundo capítulo problematiza a visão
A análise
ABSTRACT
There is a significant growth in the elderly population today. Therefore, there is still a
distorted image of the elderly associated with negative factors, with the social imaginary
of aging and old age crossed by stereotypes and stigmas in everyday life, as well as
prejudices anchored in society. images about the old, which enables the transmission of
ideas, which is a vehicle for transmitting ideas, which is a vehicle for transmitting ideas,
which is a vehicle for transmitting ideas, which is a vehicle for transmitting ideas, which
is a vehicle for transmitting ideas, which is a vehicle for transmitting ideas, which is
cultural that can be used to process the use, being verified as used as an element used by
Brazilian society, which is a vehicle for transmitting ideas Resource to understand the
social aspects. Thus, the Brazilian objectives are: to analyze, throughout the memory of
each year, which were the sung portraits and the productions of meanings attributed to
the approach of old age that were recorded in music. to identify the multiplicity of ways
of aging in Brazilian music in the lapse of 1930-2020; critically thinking about the
construction of the image of the old, old age and the aging process in our society through
Brazilian songs composed in this period; to disseminate a reflection on social issues, and
to link the lyrics of the melodies and the social experiences present in the social reality.
This is a bibliographic and documentary study of a qualitative nature. The method used
in this study is the access to vehicles through musical texts. Images of candles being
influenced by the interpretive analysis of song lyrics written by others, as well as by
Discourse Analysis, and through the sociology of music. The subjects of this present work
are the Brazilian popular songs selected from: national popular songbook, following the
historical cut, chronologically between the years (1930 - 2020) and the degree of
proximity and familiarity with the work of art explored. The first chapter approaches
aging as a bio-psycho-sociophysiological and cultural, vital, universal, multifactorial
process. The second chapter discusses the positivist view established by science, pointing
to music as an alternative method, aiming to deconstruct the homogenizing view of aging
and negative thinking concerning this phase. From the analysis of Brazilian music, as a
result, it was possible to understand the different images about the old man, old age and
the aging process, namely: it was identified only in the music of the 80s and 2000s, a
positive sense linked to the image of the elderly person. The analysis of the other songs
that have a negative, derogatory, unfavorable and repulsive sense of old age and the aging
process, composed in the decades (30,40,50,60,70,90), contribute to answer the problem
proposed by the present study that constitutes the following question: would there be in
the national popular songbook a socially pre-established image for the elderly throughout
the 20th and 21st centuries? So, based on the exploration of these songs, it was proven
that for many years only the image of old age associated with a period of decline and
losses prevailed, contributing to the existence of stereotypes and prejudices towards the
elderly. Having as basic authors for this study, the anthropologist Mirian Goldenberg and
the philosopher Simone Beauvoir.

BEAUVOIR(1970),BOBBIO(1997), DEBERT(1999), FRAIMAN(2016),
GOLDEMBERG(2013), LISPECTOR(1998), MINAYO(2002), MORIN(2020),
SANTOS(2019), SANTOS(2009;2020), SCHIRRMACHER(2005). THOMPSON(1992).
minimizar o impacto do distanciamento social e dos desafios físicos, psíquicos e econômicos
ABSTRACT
This study was developed with the aim of demonstrating the challenges of aging during the
confrontation of the Covid-19 pandemic, based on the listening of elderly people participating
in the Ação Emergencial Telefonema Acolhedor (Welcoming Phone Call Emergency Action),
one of the interventions of the Programa de Extensão Universitária para Pessoas Idosas
(University Extension Program for Elderly People) - PTIA in the Community, from the
Federal University of Piauí. The problem that guides this research, questions how listening to
the Welcoming Phone Call can be an instrument of reception and care for the elderly during
the Covid-19 pandemic, in Teresina – PI. Its general objective is: To understand how the
Welcoming Phone Call promotes the reception of the physical and emotional needs of the
elderly who are attended by the Action, during the pandemic period. And for specific
objectives: to relate the different aspects of the elderly during the pandemic and its
implications for contemporary society; to demonstrate how the use of social media can
interfere with the social isolation imposed by the pandemic; to correlate listening as a care
mechanism, through the narrative of the elderly and to emphasize the greatest challenges
faced by the elderly, in the family environment, during the pandemic period. The theoretical
discussion was based on BEAUVOIR (1970), BOBBIO (1997), DEBERT (1999), FRAIMAN
(2016), GOLDEMBERG (2013), LISPECTOR (1998), MINAYO (2002), MORIN (2020),
SANTOS (2019), SANTOS (2009;2020), SCHIRRMACHER (2005) and
THOMPSON(1992). In order for the proposed objectives to be met, in the methodology,
narratives/oral history were used as a research instrument and as documentary source, with
information collected weekly through telephone calls, video calls, text messages, audios and
dialogues, which permeated on different topics inherent to the reality of each of the seven
elderly people I accompanied, as a volunteer at the Welcoming Phone Call, for approximately
fifty-two weeks. In this dialogic relationship with the elderly, I was able to share their
experiences, wishes, desires, fears, physical and emotional needs and the elderly's perception
of the representation of their old age. I note that the listening tool and the use of social media
have contributed significantly to minimizing the impact of social distancing and the physical,
psychological and economic challenges that accompany the aging process in this current
pandemic period.

ABSTRACT This research studies the religious market in the Encontro de Jovens com Cristo (EJC) in the parish Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro (PNSPS). The reading made by the investigation seeks to highlight the constructions of the autonomy of the young Catholics of this group, in specific, making dialogue with the religious traditions. The theoretical foundation starts from the conceptualization of spirituality, religiosity and religion. This last concept is interpreted from the dialogue with authors who understand the relationship between modernity and the construction of a religion of salvation (BOURDIEU, 2007; DURKHEIM, 2013). Besides that, globalization appears as a fundamental element for the critical questioning of religions, as well as the search for autonomy in the religious choice (GIDDENS, 1997). The objective of this investigation is to understand how the EJC, situated in a market of salvation assets, gives autonomy to the experience of religiosity in the face of religious competition between strands of Catholicism. Therefore, it carried out an investigation in three axes. The first axis, autoethnographic, reflected on the researcher's constructions of meanings, as a member of the studied group, which influenced the questions made in the following axis. The second axis, focus group, brought together three young members of the EJC in which they debated the concepts of religious market and innovation. With this, the interlocutors exposed their points of view regarding their sociability. The third axis, observational, consisted of immersion in the field of the EJC through the cross performed by the group and the annotation of the field diary that allowed us to understand the webs of meanings and relationships produced by the religious movement. The constructed data favored the understanding that the young people of the EJC provoke flexibility in the Catholic rules, as well as build a consumer market favorable to tribal socialities (MAFFESOLI, 1998) in which the panelinhas – small groups that include people of the same identity – are forms of aggregation adapted to the official EJC organization. That is, the panelinhas are not ocasional, but inclinations constructed by the group itself from the hierarchy of functions and activities of EJC.

No Brasil, principalmente a
dimensão simbólica (BOURDIEU, 1989a; 2015) do Cinema “Independente”
Assim, no
ABSTRACT: Since the 2000s, the relevant transformations in the field of cinema have been
observed with the possibilities arising from the digital revolution. In Brazil, especially
from 2010 onwards, what some authors call “Novissimo” Bra zilian Cinema is
configured, with low-budget productions recognized in festivals, whose “independent”
mode of production is opposed to the molds of cinema “ industrial ”, in which the
positions of this generation of directors demonstrate the centrality of the symbolic
dimension in the production of such works (VASCONCELOS-OLIVEIRA, 2014).
Taking these facts as assumptions, and the concept of continuum (BECKER, 2012)
to deal with the granting of “industrial” cinema and “independent” cinema, the
objective of this work is to contribute to the understanding of the symbolic dimension
(BOURDIEU, 1989a; 2015) of Contemporary “Independent” Cinema through the
production of meanings (SPINK, 1999; 2010) of its directors in Teresina (PI), from
2014 to 2019. This is a qualitative research, using semi-structured changes and a
daily field for collecting empirical data. The analytical treatment of the data took place
through partial transcriptions - after successive taps - of the most representative parts
of the information, and categorization based on the Maps (SPINK, 2010). The results
found confirm the hypothesis that the context of contemporary independent cinema in
Teresina presents itself as a reflection of wide changes in the contemporary world in
the post-industrial capitalist era, and of decentralization of Brazilian audiovisual
production, and that its particularities reinforce the power of collective actions
(BECKER, 1977b) of audiovisual activism, with a strong political and epistemic
character of contesting adapted socio-cultural standards with which those belonging -belonging to a generation after the aforementioned thesis and, sometimes, organized
into collectives (MIGLIORIN, 2012) - do not identify. Thus, in the present field of
study, there is evidence of horizontality and multifunctionality in the production
teams, the (political) association between personal life and the sphere of work - both
permeated by exchanges of affection -, or the extension of the cinema experience
beyond of the film, as well as a greater appreciation of the creative process, and not
only the work, some characteristics of a post-industrial cinema (MIGLIORIN, 2011),
suffering productions, claim the emergence of the “other” (HOLANDA, 2019;
BERNARDET, 2003 ) or self-representation (MENEZES, 2003) and begins to impact
the incipient field (BOURDIEU, 2009) or the world (BECKER, 1977a) in Teresina (PI),
after external legitimation, in exhibitions and festivals in other cities and / or states ,
these impacts that in the present research are only delineated for further
investigation.
